New Book ATUA from Fulgur

defile959:
I just received my copy of ATUA yesterday from Fulgur (via JD Holmes) - and WOW!  First of all, the book is much bigger than I anticipated - all the better to appreciate the striking art included among the essays.  I have not as of yet begun reading in earnest - only cherry picking a couple of the essays which immediately caught my eye, but after I get the very busy next few days out of the way, I will begin in earnest.

Has anyone else received the book and started reading it?  Care to share your thoughts?

A hearty congratulations to Robert (and all at Fulgur), David, Ariock, and all the other contributors!  Now if I just had a few more hours in my days to devote to reading...    :D

I am anxiously awaiting mine. I wonder if the deluxes are shipping yet.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

Jon, thanks for sharing your first impressions, I am glad you enjoy it so far and I am looking forward to a more in depths feedback. I had a great time working on this book, both as editor and contributor as I was\am in the fortunate position to be engaging here with a group of exceptionally talented artists and occultists - something which I believe has been captured extremely well also in shape and form by Fulgur.
In regards to the deluxe, I am certain it cannot be long until they ship but I am sure Rob Ansell can give us some more details once he reads this thread. Would certainly love to read some more feedback from the lashtal community.

I love this book! I've had it for a while, now, and I've read many of the articles several times.

Off the top of my head Craig Williams', Vadge Moore's and Shannon Esmerelda's essays struck a very deep chord in me.

I'd like to take this opportunity to recommend this book to any and all who are interested in the writings of Kenneth Grant, especially those waiting for the republication of the Typhonian Trilogies.

Apologies for not having said anything more specific. I'm in the midst of reading almost a dozen books right now and it's been a few weeks since I've read from ATUA.

Thank you very much Mr Beth and all involved in the production of this fine tome. A few years ago I used to bemoan the fact that nobody seems to care about producing quality books. Now I use books such as ATUA and Voudon Gnosis as examples of what others should aspire to producing... at least in my view.

TauMelchizedek:
509, your kind words are much appreciated. We believe it important that the content of a book is being reflected by its vehicle - this way it becomes an entity and a true ATUA :). Positive feedback like this will surely motivate us to make some more of our research and art available to an informed readership in future volumes of ATUA.
