With all due respect to the people involved here, I'm not sure how productive it is to discuss what people would have paid for a book that has already been sold!

I am finding the world of occultism an increasingly cynical place.

Just to clarify, as Michael Staley has stated (and I'm very grateful for him defending me here), it was not my intention to stop people discussing this topic, I just couldn't really see that it served any purpose! I'm not sure that this makes me cynical, or indeed stopped discussion on the topic as far as it went. Someone came on here to sell some books and, for all I know, only sold the one. Perhaps sold them all. I'm sure they didn't intend to start a debate on the price of one particular book, or that this was the intention of them posting in the first place. For those who were so desperate to pay more for the copy of Azoetia offered at the beginning of this thread, that very same copy is now on sale at Midian Books for £1395.00. That may be closer to the market value, or may not sell at all at this price, who's to say? But hopefully this will make everyone happy and put the world to rights again  :)

Apologies, as I was not actually referring to you. In any event, it appears that we weren't actually talking about a book that had been ''sold'' as it seems to be on sale again.

There follows of list of Xoanon/Three Hands Press rarities and recent releases:

Sometimes, it's not about the price of a book, so much as it is about the book. I did say that I was willing to pay more for it. I am only too pleased that it was made available again so soon after it eluded me the first time.

I bet the original seller felt a little deflated though......
