A new painting now on offer at Midian Books. Included with the painting is a copy of
The Image & The Cross.
The Fetish of The Diabolical Paraclete The main motif of the painting pertains to The man at the crossroads. A mystical place of transcendence, sometimes symbolised by the graveyard. The man who meets you there is the keeper of the mysteries of the cross. He is a spirit of guidance who represents an initiatory ideal, which the adept strives to attain by bargaining with deeds and intent.
On the reverse of the painting there is a ceromantic sentinel which was called into physical form during the conception of the artifact. The sentinel functions as a tutelary spirit and can assist the beholder in delving deep into the mysteries of the motif.
15x15cm canvas, acrylics, nails, wire, wax, lacquer, plaster.
