I see that it was 2009 when I signed up. I remember attempting to log in a few times but for some reason I couldn't. Now here I am logged in and it's 2012 - although I had to make up a new password because my memory isn't that good! God only knows what was going through my mind when I chose my username...I've no recollection of where that came from.
During those 3 years I was and still am to this day drawn to Crowley and his work/teachings. I remember as a teenager first hearing of AC through an older acquaintance who I think fancied himself as a bit of a devil worshipper. In those teenage years there can be a lure to assoicate yourself with that mindset because it's supposedly 'cool' and rebellious. I had no time for my older friend's belief's or practices. But this character Aleister Crowley lingered in a part of my mind - mostly through fascination and perhaps with a little bit of fearfulness too (the photo portrait of Crowley on Lawrence Sutin's biography tends to have that effect!).

I rediscovered Crowley in my twenites. Suffering in life is what brought me to his work and teachings. So here I am, OtisCromDecidius. You all can call me Rich, though not in monetary value.
