Re-Introduction With Question.

I have been drawn back to the work.   I got into Crowley's work last year only to find myself overwhelmed with information and no structure to learning.  I soon became discouraged and took some of the things I read to heart for the next few months.  I have yet again been drawn to the work after completing Book IV.  With that being said I was wondering if anyone know the legit way to start my study with the A.'.A.'.  I have found the required readings for the grade & I have also e-mailed someone but I want to be 100% sure that I am at the right place and talking to the right people.  I look forward to chatting with you all!

Good luck on that one :o

I will sell you certainty for only one hundred dollars ::)

Seriously, it is not clear which people you are seeking confirmation of? The email you sent off? Or the wonderful folks here at lashtal?

Please specify your area of uncertainty. Then you will probably get a lot of dialog.

If it's anything to do with A.'.A.'. (about which you wish to be certain), there's at least two specific threads here in the lashtal archives that go into it in great detail. I believe all such discussions end up with a certain amount of uncertainty.

There’s no such thing as certainty, and the desire for it (along with the assumption that it must exist) is one of the obstacles on the path. What is it that you want to be “sure” of, anyway? That the A.’.A.’. branch you’ve contacted is the “real” A.’.A.’.?

I’ll let you in on a secret: no terrestrial group calling itself “A.’.A.'.” is the A.’.A.'. The real A.’.A.’. – the One, True Order – is nothing less than the Order of Things itself. Being initiated into this Order is the process of progressively acquiescing to your place in the Order of Things, discovering and accepting who you are and what your nature is.

No one can do that for you, and there’s surprisingly little that other people can even do to help you directly, since the material you’re working with (your observations of yourself) are available only to you. This is consistent with the idea that no one else can “initiate” you, that all initiation is self-initiation.

You can’t be absolutely “certain” of what I’ve just said, but you can get pretty damn close to it.

In the Sun he appeard descending before

I quickly realized my mistakes soon after I made the post.
Please  understand I am new to the work and with something like the O.T.O the A.'.A.'. seemed like nothing more then a home study course.
After reading several previous posts I am now educated on the subject.
Certainty is truth and truth is truth!I think? Right? Maybe?

Thanks

Agreed.  It resonates with me.
