Perdurabo: The Life of Aleister Crowley by Dr Richard Kaczynski will be reprinted in a revised and expanded edition to be published by North Atlantic Books in August of 2010.
Hard cover, 608 pages, $24.95 USD (pre-order price).
Looks of interest to me, though had already the first edition, which I found the best of Crowley-biographies so far as I have read them, so now am curious to look at this one, the cover also looks nice to me, also now looking forward to the revised and expanded edition.
.. At Last! I 'Lost' my old copy. Magnificent! Now, I only await the 'Unabridged Confessions'. This, is the best Crowley biography yet written, by a far far margin. It makes all of the others look like tabloids. I cannot recommend it enough to any who have not shared the experience. At last, Aleister revealed as he was...
Prices for the new updated HARD COVER edition are listed for USD30 whereas prices for the used SOFT COVER first edition are listed at USD120 - very strange. I presume North Atlantic is doing a much higher print run and therefore able to provide better quality at much cheaper prices..
