Interesting that Smith studied under Jones. So too did the writer Malcolm Lowry, earlier in the 1940s, when living in Vancouver. Interesting to know more about Jones between his break with Crowley in the 1920s, and his correspondence with Yorke in 1948, in the course of which he mentions having a number of students.
