I slept with faith and found a corpse in my arms on awakening; I drank and danced all night with doubt and found her a virgin in the morning.

I'm very grateful to Ian for making the following important texts available on his wonderful website:
1. MS. Sloane 3188 (the first five Books of the Mysteries) 2. MS. Sloane 3191 (48 Angelic Keys, Liber Scientiae, De Heptarchia Mystica & the Invocations of the Good Angels), and 3. Cotton Appendix MS. XLVI Parts I and II (i.e., the original on which A True and Faithful Relation... was based) 4. The Angelic Alphabet from MS. Sloane 3189 (Kelley's original drawings at the end of Loagaeth)
Marvellous stuff!
93 All,
I am happy to be able to announce that
1. MS. Sloane 3188 (the first five Books of the Mysteries)
2. MS. Sloane 3191 (48 Angelic Keys, Liber Scientiae, De Heptarchia Mystica & the Invocations of the Good Angels), and
3. Cotton Appendix MS. XLVI Parts I and II (i.e., the original oÂn which A True and Faithful Relation... was based)
4. The Angelic Alphabet from MS. Sloane 3189 (Kelley's original drawings at the end of Loagaeth)
are now available at The Magickal Review website. Unfortunately, due to a clerical error at The British Library, and my failure to check the invoice properly (oops!) I do not yet have the rights to reproduce MS. Sloane 3645 (the English translation of MS. Ashmole 1790, the "Lost Action") and MS. Sloane 3677 (Elias Ashmole's transcription of MS. Sloane 3188). Well, they're secondary sources anyway...
Also, the Bodleian Library were asking way over the odds (16 times more than the British Library) for me to reproduce the 20 folios of
MS. Ashmole 1790, so unless they relent and offer me a reasonable price, then that will not be available in the foreseeable future.
But it's all in Latin anyway...
93,
By cutting out the blank bits, I have been able to reduce the file size for MS. Sloane 3191 (who would have believed it?!), so I can afford to save the files as higher quality JPEGs than I used for the other MSS.; which is necessary, since that MS. is barely legible. Anyway, the point is that I also have MS. Sloane 3189 (Loagaeth/The Book of Enoch/Liber Mysteriorum Sextus et Sanctus) online now, so it's possible to see how bad Kelley's handwriting was, as well as Dee's.
