There's a question that has been torturing me for a while, when did Crowley do the Abramelin operation in his Boleskine house? What year? I imagine it was before 1904 but I can't find the precise date.
Also, as a bonus,
Did it happen before or after the reception of Liber Al? I imagine it was before, but since I can't find precise dates on the Abramelin ordeal, I don't know for sure, any help?

The trouble with Google is that you are compelled to give up looking at ALL results. AC started the Abramelin operation at least as early as 1900 while still in the Golden Dawn (there is a diary of that operation in the Harry Ransom archives) but I believe I remember that it was even in 1899. Some people also claim that he never finished it successfully. Anyway, at Boleskine he only performed the preparations for the Working but the well-known Golden Dawn troubles were calling him away before he could start the actual operation.

If your question is only about Boleskine, I think that narrows it all down to 1899 and 1900. Or so I think.

Isn't this where Uncle Al started the operation, and abandoned it before completion, to continue it in China, visualising all; down to the last detail of The Alter; His concentration so intense, that it took him a while to realise that He, together with the pony He was riding, had fallen over a small cliff? Or does
memory serve me ill, that I mutter rubbish?
Can anyone remember the year of The New Kings road Studio workings? Whereby He did issue Lion Serpents to incarnate 'Officers' of The New Aeon? One knows why, how, but not when. Anyone?
