What types of methods are there in working with the Qliphothic entities from Nightside of Eden/Liber 231? I don't have a book where Grant explains his method. In fact, in Nightside of Eden, I think it says he outlined it in another one. Anyway, if I have read it I've long since forgotten it and where to look.
This is of great interest to me and as a rule of thumb I find out every way and interpretation for attacking an operation before performing it. Even if I have it jotted down somewhere, it's also important for me to hear what other magicians have to say about working with the Qliphoth. If it's private, feel free to shot me a line.
The methods that I've found so far for contacting such entities: LAM contact, Shadow Tarot (--note, I've been through the site and have the book ), trance access via a magickal link dealing with something deeply old and connected with myself.

I appreciate any help and comments dealing with this subject.

I personally also use Lycantrophy and employ various magical 'machines', mental temples etc. to aid in that work. Bertiaux has described some of these in the 3rd yr course of the monastery of the seven rays and also talks about this in the VGW - although much has to be inserted reading between the lines. Coincidentally I am currently writing some papers dealing amongst others with such work, incl. what you can find in the VGW. Should be published within the next few months sometime.

Cheers,

David

Hello,

I would really recommend the book "Qabalah, Qliphoth and Goetic Magic" written by the Swedish author Thomas Karlsson. I have myself been using this book when for several years (the Swedish edition that is) and it gives you a good ground for further empirical studies of the Shells and Tunnels of the Qliphoth.

The following can be found about the book on the publisher's homepage:

"Qabalah, Qliphoth and Goetic Magic is a unique practical introduction to magic. The main thread of the book is the exploration of the Qliphoth and the dark mysteries which have for so long been a repressed part of western esotericism. Instead of ignoring and denying the dark side, the author reveals, step by step, how man can get to know his Shadow and, through this, reach a deeper knowledge of the Self. By exploring and not by repressing the Shadow it can be transformed from a destructive force into a creative power.

The book deals with the problem of evil, the symbolism behind the fall of Lucifer and man’s creation process according to Qabalistic philosophy.

The theories that are presented in this book are also linked to practice. Several examples of rituals, meditations, magical exercises and occult correspondences can be found within. Qabalah, Qliphoth and Goetic Magic contains more than one hundred demonic sigils and pieces of art that were created specifically for this book. A unique collection of all the sigils from the classic grimoires Lemegeton: The Lesser Key of Solomon and the infamous Grimorium Verum are also included." http://www.ajnabound.com

As for now, I use the formula of the hand as the vessel of the void, from chumbey's Azoetia. It works for me; some results are uploaded in the gallery.
When this working is over I will try other methods.
