Hi mates,

I am living in Paris, and, as you might have heard of on this website, there are two awesome exhibitions with Crowley paintings...

Do some of you plan to attend these ?

I went to Beaubourg's "Traces du Sacré", there was a little selfportrait by Crowley, which was quite weird, and four paintings by Harris.

Here are some pics...

I've seen the main exhibition entitled Traces du Sacre and submitted a short review. Look in the Recent Reviews column bottom right side of this page. Hope it is of some help.

Hi dudes !

I just attended the PALAIS DE TOKYO exhibition.
I'm very disapointed cause I couldn't attend the kenneth Anger talking, there where no tickets anymore for it.

Anyway, there were a dozen of Crowley's paintings. Some of them were nice. I was happy to see some of his original paintings for teh Thoth deck (not those by Harris)

I will go back to the show and take some pics if I can, I will post them here.

Does anyone have an image of the self-portrait mentioned above?
Ive been interested in Crowley's artwork for some time & have collected quality scans/files of most of what is available online & in the "Old master" catalogue. If any members have any "rarities" that you think I may be interested in, I'd be enormously grateful for copies.
While on the topic; would anyone care to help me unravel something which has perplexed me for some time: there are twop versions of Maymorn on the web; one appears in all rights very "crowley" in technique and style; the other smacks of pastiche for several reasons that should be clear to those in the know. Opinions???

You could try the Galleries here.

If you've got the Old Master Catalogue, as you indicate, then you'll see that the second image is described as: "Withdrawn as physical examination showed it to be a modern interpretation..."
