How much do we know about astrology?
Everything is set up for us at birth. We can review our potential by setting up a natal chart.
By not doing, we risk the pitfall of hubris.
'Excessive pride displayed by a character, at times taking the form of a boastful challenge to the gods or other higher powers--often resulting in harsh punishment.'
A spiritual man looked at his chart and engaged in going against the grain. He survived. His point being that he could do it

I am certainly not sure what significance is intended by this, but in my mind I found myself automatically translating it into terms that I could more easily relate to:

How much do we know about true Will?
Everything is set up for us at birth. We can review our potential by reference to true Will.
By not doing, we risk the pitfall of hubris.
'Excessive pride displayed by a character, at times taking the form of a boastful challenge to true Will--often resulting in harsh punishment.'
A man, well aware of his true Will, engaged in going against the grain. He survived. His point being that he could do it.

BLUEPRINT

We come from eternity into time with a mission prescribed on our spiritual aura. Everything one is to become, the entire matrix, is written on this aura.

We are then put into a situation where this Blueprint can be brought to maximum potential through machining.

The 4.4 gate (aka the Abyss) is the last decontamination chamber between the Operations Deck and the Observation Deck, which is the rapture of knowing you are completing a million year journey with all senses intact and sharpened. You are awake. To know one’s potential is to know what is expected.

The holotropic conception of Genesis II, Thoth (the holographic computer system), connects the Point with all global outlets for perfect speed from Mind to Manifest . . . Keywords: Da'ath / Ruach

Thoth provides a precise methodology for manifesting the Perfect Plan. Remember Thoth? As the Egyptian god of writing and knowledge, he is the overseer of the Internet.

The 4.4 Blueprint for the New Aeon was set in place before "time" (as such) began. Wink

There is also risk of hubris if their natal chart is set.
Sometimes individuals put to much value on the interpretation of their natal chart as a clear cut definition of their nature. This is problematic since more often than not, in my experience, people who've had charts done believe they possess certain qualities in abundance which, unfortunately for them, they do not actually possess. This can lead to unsubstantiated pride in themselves and is damaging to their true self-worth.

Are you sure it's not his Ape? It would make a lot more sense...

Er, well, of course you are correct, W5.
Thoth is actually the "overseer," but the monkey (as we well know) is the nuts-and-bolts administrator. This would apply to communication in general, including speech, books, word processors, spreadsheets, and [especially] the www.

As far as this Astrology thread goes ("not a very popular one," the ape says): It has been my observation that Astro can be remarkably accurate, but on the other hand, bewilderingly inaccurate.
Even though Crowley seemed to put some personal stock in the art, he also warned aspirants to stay away from it unless they were strongly attracted to it.

I have some personal experience of my own with it from an Oriental viewpoint. A Taoist scholar performed an analysis of my birth data and gave me the results that were much more precise and accurate than any western 'scope I had ever seen. But then the Asians sometimes have access to "secret" knowledge that we westerners just pretend to have.

I thought I should say something. I am encouraged by the Golden Dawn attitude toward astronomy : viz: We know nothing.
