Wasn't sure where to put this so I've put it in Problems and Suggestions and I can't find anything about it in the Guidelines or FAQ.

What's the forum position on "necro" (i.e. reviving old threads and continuing their discussions)? Many forums discourage it, but I feel that with these forums there are so many interesting discussions on essential topics that, rather than make new threads, it might be better to keep the ball rolling on threads that are already juicy.

Not particularly hung up about this, just curious, as I've been browsing loads of past stuff I'd like to add my tuppence h'penny'orth to. Smile

If they've not been locked, I have absolutely no problem at all with old threads being revived and refreshed by the addition of genuinely interesting posts: in fact, I'd positively encourage it as it promotes ease of research.

Thanks for asking, by the way.
