It sometimes strikes me that the whole of science is a piece of impudence; that nature can afford to ignore our impertinent interference. If our monkey mischief should ever reach the point of blowing up the earth by decomposing an atom, and even annihilated the sun himself, I cannot really suppose that the universe would turn a hair.

Also check out Typhonian Teratomas by Mishlen Linden and Shadow Tarot by Linda Falorio. Typhonian Teratomas is available through the Bate Cabal website at: http://w3.iac.net/~moonweb/index.html and Linda has a great website at http://www.anandazone.nu. You'll have to hunt down Shadow Tarot through Amazon. I have the original edition but there is a greatly expanded edition available in softcover.

Dear Etu_Malku,

Thomas Karlsson 'Qabalah, Qliphoth and Goetic Magic' is an fascinating 'grimoire' of the Qliphoth initiation and the Goetic praxis; my favorite book on the topic. I first read it when it was release in the Swedish language through 'Ouroboros' a few years ago - I have done a lot of empirical studies with the invocation of the Qliphas and the sigil for the Tunnels (the Tunnels of Set) and have had very good and Gnostic experiences of the Sitra Ahra through the book. The sigil for the tunnels are different from the ones found in Liber 231 in the Equinox and Kenneth Grant 'Nightside of Eden' (1977), they are beautiful in a mysteries and 'sinister' way. The book also contains an interesting and informative chapter on the Goetia and its relation to the Draconian initiation. I can highly recommend the book for anyone that have an interest in Qliphotic studies! Smile

Fraternally in the Meontology,
J. Jakobsson

Hello,

I just finished reading the book yesterday. I enjoyed it very much.

The general flavour that Karlsson has aroused, is a penetration of the qabalah from a traditional judeo-christian perspective, mixed with an interesting injection of the use of the Goetia and Kenneth Grants, Tunnels of Set. His insights are unique and he synthesises the principles of the Zoharic/Mathers/Golden Dawn style qabalah with other traditions i.e. The Nordic and the use of some Grantian metaphysics i.e. Universe B.

I think it is a wonderful grimoire and provides a clear and comprehensive insight into the magickal engine which drives the Dragon Rouge.

Basically, we need more books like this on the shelf.

My very best wishes

Charles

I don't think that Karlsson talks about the phrase "the tunnels of set", and the concept of universe b in Dragon Rouge is not the same as the Grant concept with the same name, or the Bertiaux concept.
Just a minor clarification!

Unfortunately this book contains no index at the end which makes topic research difficult.
