I think it's basically magic. There is such a thing as magic, and the Beatles were magic. It depends on what you believe life is. Life is an energy field, a bunch of molecules. And these particular molecules formed to make these four guys, who then formed into this band called the Beatles and did all that work. I have to think that was something metaphysical. Something alchemic. Something that must be thought of as magic--with a "k."

Hello guys,
I was undecided on whether to post this in the Artist or Timeline subforums, but opted for the first option.
Since viewing this fantastic painting I've had it as my desktop image, as it is in someway connected to me.
I own several property in the eastern part of Sicily, near the Catania area, right across the gulf and I could help but notice that the perspective in the Etna painting bears a striking resemblance to the whereabouts of one of the houses I spend time in during my trips down.
Now, I don't want to imply that AC visited a particular town or another, as I really have no clue. Which brings to my question.
Seeing that the painting of Etna is made from the southern side of the gulf of Catania, which is close to where i took the pic right below (you can see mount Etna and a bit of snow on its top in the background), is there any written evidence that AC visited this part of Sicily at any time?
I tried checking the timeline given here and leafing through the Confessions but couldn't find any helpful hint.
Anyone know more on AC's travels in Sicily?

Frater Lucius
