I am working on a poem/puzzle,
I'm trying to break EVERYTHING down into ten things, ten colors, five dualities.
So for I have come up with this...
White = Birth
Black = Death
Gray = Spirit
Brown = Earth
Red = Fire/lust/root chakra/
Green = plants/love/heart chakra
Yellow = air/humor/solar plexus chakra
purple =
orange = pleasure
blue =
im trying to make this correspond to the tree of life, color theory (i.e birth/black+ death/white = spirit/gray)
I would love to hear what you guys think. Thanks. |

What section are you assigning 'Done' to Paul? I'm confused. |

Lysenergy noted that "I realize now I should have put this in the requests section." My comment was intended to indicate that I had "done" the transfer of this thread to that Forum. |

Your very first correlation, if viewed in China (where it ALL seems to be upside down from our western world), the color of death is White. I have seen some very intelligent Chinese people freak out at the sight of a white paper lantern in a living person's office.
Good luck on your attempt to classify everything in ten dualities with simple +/- attributes - but be prepared to see your system break down when viewed from the viewpoint of other cultures. Even Tree-of-Life correspondences vary from star to star and from system to system. |

This is an interesting pursuit, Lysenergy. You could try looking at the correspondences and combinations from a wavelength (numerical) perspective rather than a visible color perspective. This isn't without precedent.
