If the album is as good as the singles it'll be worth checking out. It's refreshing to hear a band refrencing Crowley who have a sence of humour. I'm surprised that what with the growing interest in thelema, there's not more new bands quoting Crowley, in no matter how trivial a way.

Album of the year?

The titles of the tracks also reference Burroughs , Pynchon, and Ballard(the albums title) amongst others, so I wouldn't get too excited that this is a thelemic band. Album of the year is a bit premature considering it's only January 27th. But I'll certainly check them out.

From today's UK The Observer (New rave is dead; long live the Klaxons <>):
That old rascal Aleister Crowley gets exhumed once again. 'Do what you will,' urges 'Magick', abetted by an irresistible on-beat...

This from icScotland.co.uk:

Then it’s back to the familiar with a stomp through ‘Gravity’s Rainbow’, Klaxons’ opening single, still sounding fresh and firin’ with it’s "Come with me/Come with me/We’ll travel to infinity" chorus. This neatly segues into third single ‘Magick’, with it’s references to the Order of the Golden Dawn, stop-start motifs, and pleading that we should "Do what you will." Early 20th century occultist and druggy mountaineer Aleister Crowley gathers yet another rock classic to his tribute collection.

Love is the law, love under will.
