L’USINE 106U is proud to present the retrospective of multidisciplinary artist Jean-Michel Cholette.
Treated in a very graphic way, his acrylic paintings are carried by a morbidity rooting in pop-surrealism, lowbrow art and fantasy illustration. The exhibition also includes a holography show influenced by the writings of Aleister Crowley.
This artist’s paintings show a skillfull mastering of airbrush technique.
The exhibition takes place at USINE 106U, 111 Roy E. Montreal, Quebec, Canada from September 16th to September 30th 2008, and the opening will be held on Thursday September 18th from 5hPM to 11hPM.
Opening hours are Saturday to Wednesday noon to 6hPM , Thursday & Friday from noon to 9hPM.
