My thanks to ozzzz666 for this News item…

IO Pan Jam is being reborn from the ashes this year! It is also being re-envisioned and created in a new image. If you were a patron of past IO Pan Jam festivals, expect to see something different with this new incarnation.

IO Pan Jam will be presented May 28-30, 2010 (Memorial Day Weekend) In Fayette County, Texas.

Find more information and buy your tickets today at: IO Pan Jam.com

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law.

This festival is brought to you by the “Lords of Thebes” event planning group, a newly formed group specially created for this purpose. Special thanks to “Horus of Two Horizons”, who previously brought this festival to the Thelemic community, for allowing L.O.T. to continue this Texas tradition.

IO Pan Jam is an OPEN festival. This means that you do not need to be a member of any Thelemic Organization to attend. You don’t even have to be a Thelemite. Just come prepared to experience Thelema for the weekend. We will have some workshops covering basic Thelemic philosophy for those who would like to learn more about our culture.

IO Pan Jam will be a primitive festival experience, featuring Bonfires and Drumming, Dramatic Rituals, Lectures and Workshops, Feasting, Dancing, and all around Thelemic Revelry…

This year there will be two main rituals:

The Opening Ritual: This will be a Dramatic Ritual which will include an invokation of Pan, and kick off the first night’s Revel-Fire.

The Main Ritual: Prior to Saturday night’s Revel-Fire, there will be a dramatic ritual that is designed around this first year’s theme… “The Night of Pan”

There will also be other rituals taking place throughout the weekend, including…

Liber Resh vel Helios, daily at the four stations of the Sun.

Daily celebrations of Liber XV, The Gnostic Mass.

Performances of Liber V1/2 vel Regulift, by appointment on Saturday Night.

IO Pan Jam will be held at “Spirit Haven”. This is a Pagan festival ground located in Fayette County, Texas (between Smithville and Flatonia). Full directions can be found at: www.iopanjam.com . This land is outfitted with an on-site medical facility where we will be prepared to deliver ONLY very basic first-aid, a shower facility, MANY campsites, an area for vendors, areas suitable for private rituals, stage, and other great features. There will be plenty of clean portable toilets on-site as well.

IO Pan Jam will be an ADULTS ONLY FESTIVAL. It is 100% “clothing optional”, but shoes will be required at all times.

Guest Speakers:

Lon Milo Duquette, famed international author and occultist will present workshops on the Tarot and the Goetia. The Tarot Lecture will take place on Friday, and the two-part Goetia workshop will be taking place on Saturday.

Frater Oz will be performing the “Regulift” ritual on individuals, by appointment, on Saturday night. Liber V 1/2 vel Regulift is an adaptation of Liber V vel Reguli. The main difference between the two is that rather than the magician performing Liber V individually, three magicians perform it ON them. It provides a way for the candidate to get the benefit of the ritual, without actually performing it on their own. This disconnection from the mental aspect of performance can be quite powerful. The text of this exciting ritual can be viewed here… Since this ritual is performed on candidates one at a time, in a manner more resembling an initiation of sorts than a group ritual, we will only be able to offer a limited number of performances. Candidates for the Regulift ritual should be able to perform banishing rituals on their own, as the effects of this ritual invoke the “93 Current” onto the individual, and can be quite palpable. Please contact us for an appointment if you would like to be considered for the ceremony.

Come join us for your Memorial Day weekend!
