Death of Martin Booth

Sad news has reached me of the death of Martin Booth…

Martin Booth died on Thursday 12 February, of a brain tumour, at his home in England. Martin did Thelema a great service with his early Selected Poems of Aleister Crowley, and with his recent biography, “A Magick Life”. He had great respect for all things Crowleyan. His papers relating to his AC biography were donated to the University of Birmingham last year. He will be remembered for the books he loved to write.

I was asked 3 or 4 years ago to write a review of A Magick Life for Bill Heidrick’s Thelema Lodge Calendar. It’s available on this site. Martin achieved much in many spheres and will be missed.
