There’s a four-page interview with the rather wonderful Kenneth Anger in this month’s (October 2005) issue of Bizarre magazine (UK).
“PROPHET OF RAGE: Legendary filmmaker Kenneth Anger talks cannibalism and secret Walt Disney perversion.”
Hollywood Babylon, Bobby Beausoleil, Jimmy Page and Crowley are all discussed by Anger in his own inimitable way.
They explode with images of demonic forces, gods and mystical energies – 1969’s Inauguration Of The Pleasure Dome features the elaborate rituals practised by Aleister Crowley set to a Moog soundtrack by Mick Jagger.
The magazine itself is a bit of an acquired taste, but the article is well worth reading.
