Crowley, Aleister. Golden Twigs. Teitan Press 1988. Mint condition. Hardback in mint dust jacket. Short stories written by Crowley during his magical retirement on Lake Pasquaney in New England during the First World War; he says they were inspired by JG Frazer’s mythography, The Golden Bough — as the content of the tales attests: sacrificial divine kings, blood combats, along with the usual Crowley fare of damsels going decadent. The book itself is stunningly produced. £60.00.
