ORDO TEMPLI ORIENTIS POLAND cordially invites you to the event:
ENOCHIAN MAGICK
IN THE HOUSE OF JOHN DEE
with Lon Milo DuQuette
THE THEME: Enochian system is perhaps the most powerful and elegant of all western magical techniques. It is also one of the most misunderstood. Developed in the late 1500s by Elizabethan Magus John Dee, this system of communicating with angels in their own language has survived the centuries to become a powerful tool of self-discovery to the 21st century seeker. Join Lon for a day of real magical practice in the place where John Dee lived and had angelic conversations! It all began in Cracow…
We have located the place John Dee probably lived which miraculously is now a 5 star hotel with an excellent conference room. Can you miss that?
THE MAN: Lon Milo DuQuette is a practitioner of magical art for over 40 years. Author of 16 critically acclaimed books (translated in 12 languages) on Magick and the Occult, he is one of the most respected and entertaining writers and lecturers in the field of the Western Mystery Traditions. Since 1975 he as been a national and international governing officer of Ordo Templi Orientis, one of the most influential magical societies of the 20th Century. In this full day practical workshop Lon will show you how easy it is to journey in vision to the Elemental Worlds and Aethyric Heavens. Come prepared to participate!
THE PLACE: Stary Hotel is located on Szczepanska Street in Cracow. In times when one of the official study topics at Jagiellonian University was Magic, famous astrologists and magicians frequented it, with Paracelsus, John Dee, Edward Kelley and even doctor Dr Faustus himself, among others. Szczepanska Street may easily be compared to the famous Golden Lane of Prague. There are many reasons why Stary Hotel is described with these words: “with form they can reach further, they made it possible to reach beyond what’s material and visible”.
THE EVENT:The workshop will take 8 hours (including breaks for coffee and lunch) on Saturday 7th June 2014e.v., starting at 10am. The price includes hand-outs, tea, coffee and biscuits. We will also set up a vending area with many interesting books, journals, CDs, T Shirts, and more. Please note, there are two other events with Lon that weekend: email treasurer@oto-pl.org for more details.
