What are some opinions here about ancestral or Guru yoga with Spare.
What methods have people found most useful.
I have a tantrick leaning, so I am already partial to Guru yoga, and ancestor practices.

One good and basic result from experiments was that I got a better understanding of his book of pleasure(which was no pleasure to read before, I will say). Nothing fancy, but it was useful.

This must be a part of TOTO practice I imagine...I suspect it's clouded by oaths though...otherwise I would be interested view from there camp.

Success is the only really good reason to do this I think, so I am more interested in what has been useful to others success, whether dream yoga type practices or whatever.

I know for certain he used finger mudras in kundalini yoga to generate enough energy to burn away karma related to the diverse chakras, bird karmas (seen in the Frontispiece, The Death posture: http://victorian.fortunecity.com/updike/723/bookofpleasure.html), or fish karmas (chakra blocks): http://victorian.fortunecity.com/updike/723/sorcerer.html . The mudra he used in this picture you see the following picture, inverted near the descending kundalini energy on the left side: the two finger mudra.

He also used trataka (seen in the thumb concentration image in The Book of pleasure). And an image in Inferno of Zos vol 1, where the lightning strikes down on him while he stands with his arms on his hips suggests he used bandhas equivalent to the sixth rite in the five tibetans (a neat little yoga program you'll find if you search for it in google or wikipedia).

Actually I've got a tip to enhance the power of the sixth rite of the five tibetan rites, inspired by The Focus of life front page.
Instead of placing your arms on your hips, stretch your arms backward as you stretch your spine up and backwards.
I guess some nerves in the central nerve system is getting squeezed.

Rajneesh is doing some nice arm movements in these videos:

Before you do the Sixth rite you can try masturbation (without orgasm) and finger mudras: http://www.eclecticenergies.com/chakras/open.php

Spare also liked to work with mirrors. Evidently he could transport himself through time & space with them.

The breath of fire was used in The Death posture, if one reads it literally:

Many variants of this practice exists
