I was reading 'Anathema of Zos' and this line kinda' tripped me out:
"I know your love and hate. Inquire of red diet. Within your stomach is civil war."
I'd appreciate if someone who knows would tell me what it is he's trying to say here.
Hi could be something to do with having a vegetarian diet? I think in The Focus Of Life he mentions something like 'become less carniverous'. But I'd imagine he's probably talking about other stuff as well. I seem to find new and different meanings every time I look at his work.
Spare was never at any time in his life a vegatarian.
He he just getting at the idea that everything kills to live. Since all things are reincarnated as chemicals after the body decomposes there is civil war in our stomaches.
To understand the spiritual side of what he is driving at read The Focus of Life.
Sorry I never ment to imply that Spare himself was a vegatarian. I think you'll agree that there are enough myths about him without adding more. You're right it's definetly time for a reread of The Focus, I've been traveling around a lot lately and its been nearly a year since I've had any of his books near me.
