Eric Adams, Manowar's singer, kills grizzlies with his own hands.

Gonna have to join Shiva in calling bullshit on this one. Noting the plural "grizzlies", ie the claim is that he has done this more than once, and perhaps habitually, double bullshit.

He is the shortest member of Manowar, by maybe six inches, and is noticeably tubby (he wears leather corset things on stage).

Additionally, searches on "Manowar Eric Adams grizzly bear" produce zero hits. Eager, of course, to be proved wrong here.

I think Michael Aquino said something like he visited a slaughterhouse once and had nightmares for weeks.

The Temple of Set even has its own animal rights group, the Arkte Element, founded by Lilith Aquino.

He still eats meat

"ate".  He died last year.

I think I read in a Metal magazine that he was hunting bears, but I can't find anything on this, too. Not even under his real name Louis Marullo. There is a lot about "responsible hunting" by him, though. Very interesting and opposed to the Ted Nugent stuff 😉

Makes me very sad to hear this as I didn't know this, and I'm not even a follower or a member of TOS, but I think he was a great spiritual being.

There's not a lot about it online, the Temple kept it pretty quiet.

I respect Aquino's ideas, and have found value in them.  His articulation of an initiatory approach to the LHP  based in Western magickal traditions was truly groundbreaking. I'm skeptical of parts of The Book of Coming Forth by Night but the Diabolicon seems like a pure transmission, though I prefer to view the mythology in it as metaphorical.

Speaking of Aquino and I hope this is not thread drift,  I had to look up Diabolicon and it led me to the fact that Aquino had been on one of those sensationalist Opera Oprah shows.

If this guy claiming to have witnessed a human sacrifice isn't some kind of deluded individual or a plant, I don't know what he is .  You witness a murder and you don't even know who was there , all the while using wrong terminology. lol

Typical MSM black-washing of anyone in the occult as evil and terrible killers.

I appreciate your taking the time to look up something that I mentioned.

I've seen that video before, but it's funny, I was searching for something else last night and it came up in my results.  Aquino at the height of his Eddie Munster look.

There were a few high profile Satanists appearing on shows around that time. Zeena Lavey on the Geraldo Rivera special on Satanism, and Zeena and Nikolas Schreck on Bob Larson.

It was all attempts at black-washing, like you said, but they still got their views out there to show a more reality based depiction of Satanism. I remember reading that the Geraldo special actually got a lot of people to look in to Satanism more seriously, though probably mostly because Zeena is hot.

Wow, a Satanist "Witches Sabbat" by a "Satanic church"!   And he goes on to say it was the Church of Satan but, like you said, gets everything wrong.  And has very convenient amnesia.

I think probably more deluded than anything else. False memory syndrome is a thing, and the 80s Satanic Panic was happening around that time. The book "Michelle Remembers" is all false memories that was promoted as evidence of a worldwide Satanic sacrifice and p*do conspiracy, just like what's happening now with Qanon.

I also found the title interesting, "Synagogue of Satan" is a phrase that's been used in anti-semitic publications.

“So it must be acknowledged that one who is but slightly unbalanced needs a milder correction than whoso is obsessed by prejudice. There are men who make a fetish of cleanliness; they shall work in a fitter's shop, and learn that dirt is the mark of honourable toil. There are those whose lives are rendered wretched by the fear of infection; they see bacteria of the deadliest sort in all things but the actual solutions of carbolic acid and mercuric chloride with which they hysterically combat their invisible foemen; such would I send to live in the bazaar at Delhi, where they shall haply learn that dirt makes little difference after all.

“There are slow men who need a few months' experience of the hustle of the stockyards; there are business men in a hurry, and they shall travel in Central Asia to acquire the art of repose.

“So much for the equilibrium, and for two months in every year each member of your governing classes shall undergo this training under skilled advice.

Synagoga Satanae

Celtic Frost

Internalized conflict externalized as war
Hymning thy rebellion Lucifer morning star
Bringer of light, forever shrouded by night
I am hell, a sulphurous lake of fire and suffering
My blackened heart is a writhing mass of poisonous snakes
Grotesquely slithering as I slowly shed my dying skin

In darkness
Thou shalt come unto me
In darkness
Thou shalt worship me
In darkness
Thou art mine eternally

I'm familiar with both of those.  I actually like Celtic Frost.  😀

I just don't think, given the nature of the channel and the video, that the phrase was used in as sympathetic a way.

It goes back to the Book of Revelation, and has been used by a lot of people since, but very often in an anti-semitic context. It's also been used to describe Masonry and it's the title of a book on the history of Satanism too.
