There is a new website / campaign / conversation piece / propaganda effort called "Aleister Crowley 2012." See the site below for more info.

http://ac2012.wordpress.com/

Hadn't seen anything here about it, so thought to post a link.

Cool lookin' T-shirt but the rest of the site is pretty ridiculous.

The irony is, that i can see this being a good advert for the Thelemic movement in all its forms, and Crowey if done in the right way. If the boys at the 4Chan site or the Anonymous viral video makers get a hold of this, AC2012 could be bigger than Simon Cowell!! 🙂

In my humble opinion, a "propaganda piece" is just about the last thing that Crowley needs: there's a reason that I haven't posted details here, but thanks for letting visitors know the link.

Yeah I didn't figure many on this site would be a fan of it, but whatever anyone makes of it, it is a curiosity which I thought would be relevant to post.

Looks like at least some of the site has now also been translated into Spanish, and looks geared to the Mexican elections in 2012:

What's it for?

Seems pointless to me.

You said something similar about The Progradior Correspondence, didn't you? Am I detecting a theme...? 😉

Anyway , what it is for seems pretty self-explanatory, on the about page.

from what i've seen of it on the net, its gotten a lot of people riled up and annoyed. i guess humor loses... or pone persons funny is another persons angst. that's the feeling i get anyway.

i've seen it torn apart by it's peaces. supposed thelemites dicktating what the law is about while slappin' other supposed luvin' lawyers decide at what capacity they understand "the law". seems lame that a tongue in cheek could be judged so harshly... lol. why not laff?

i'm too new to cause trouble! (or am i? lol... )
the point is, nothing, and i hope we make it!
live long and prosper? bring out the clowns?
(i should be doing homework, i really don't have too much time on my hands, i'm evading end of term papers... 🙂

I have enjoyed this campaign a lot. Keep up the Great Work in promulgating the Law of Thelema.

It has been pointed out to me by another LAShTAL user that I should carefully explain to everyone that this is one of my own projects. For some reason he felt it would not be obvious and began accusing me of dishonesty, etc., so I thought I'd go ahead and post this disclaimer here.

Yes, I'm good at detecting things that have no point.

I was wondering thiebes, is the reason why you are vandalising Lashtal with so many links to your crummy little websites, an attempt to improve your search engine optimisation?

Even if the threads were locked and the sites were discussed in a negative way, sadly, you could still benefit.

What theme might that be, thiebes?

Best wishes,

Michael.
