Weatherall had briefly been a member of Genesis P-Orridge’s Temple Ov Psychick Youth, which presumably accounted for the quotations from Aleister Crowley.

When we were both very young, Andy was my best friend. We grew up as neighbours in the same road.

No talk of Crowley in those pre-teen years, of course!

RIP Andy.

Wow Paul, that is a very close loss for you, my sympathies.

Legend of a man on the early 90’s Rave scene, of which I was heavily invested, or is that ingested?

He can rest his “Sabres of Paradise” now.

RIP to him.

Never heard of him until now BUT I am very excited to hear him because A. I love acid techno and B. He did a My Bloody Valentine remix and I love MBV!

Oh and he founded Junior Boys Own?! No idea....

Great label; heard of it due to Underworld and other acts.  I used to produce a lot of electronica and still do from time to time.

RIP indeed...
