https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/news/highlands/2142832/video-clean-up-reveals-hidden-secrets-of-boleskine-house/

Mr Readdy said: “Despite the house’s ‘known’ history, we believe it dates before Archibald Fraser, and may have stood as a military installation during the rebellion period when General Wade’s Road was constructed. This is evident in old military maps from the mid-18th century where a small three-sectioned house with two bayed windows either sides a large middle room was drawn and looks just like the three principal rooms of Boleskine House.”

A military installation. Of what god was Ankh-ef-en-Khonsu a priest?

I would guess that 'mid-eighteenth century rebellion' refers to the Jacobite rising of 1745.

Still no reply from "Mr. Readdy" as to why his Foundation employs a neonazi.

That's was a pleasant and calm non-sensationalist article. Even mentions the Abramelin Working without tabloid talk of demons, madness and suicide or neonazis.

The original stonework looks lovely. Hope the restoration goes well and that these sections remain exposed where they can.

Seeing the stonework and reading a bit about its history makes those bags of debris the Boleskine House Foundation is selling online a near irresistible purchase.

After checking ebay it looks like a stone can be purchased for £35.00 without the rest of the debris.

Sounds like you have a personal problem. An ax that you keep grinding, while you can.

Whatever the cause of your issue azrael that leaves you without the ability to regulate yourself it's of no concern to me and I would appreciate you not drawing me into your cause. The stone has a connection with the history of the land and Aleister Crowley and is something that would appeal to me as a memento and artifact whoever was selling it.

Then don't reply. Ignore away, buy your rock, and help a bunch of fanatics build their little scam. I am simply writing lists.

Leave me out of your petty crusade and stop responding to my posts.

Reviews indicate that people are receiving their purchases so it appears that you are spreading misinformation and the sale is legitimate.

[T]he chicken crossed the road.

To hold his pants up.

It was a pleasure recently to talk for the first time in almost 30 years to my old dispatcher from the bicycle messenger service where i worked in the '80s-'90s.

I asked him "Do you still smoke reefer?" He replied "Does the Pope shit in the woods?" I of course gave the ritually-required reply "Is a bear Catholic?"

See also the old acid-head joke, the punchline of which is "No soap, radio."

There are a number of versions, but this is the one i heard first:

Pappa Bear, and Mamma Bear, and Baby Bear are taking a shower.

Pappa Bear says to Mamma Bear "Could you please pass the soap?"

Mamma Bear says to Baby Bear "Could you please pass the soap?"

And Baby Bear says "No soap, radio."

See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_soap_radio

But i never thought of it as that kind of joke, where the joke is that the joke isn't funny and anyone who laughs at it is stupid. I always thought of it as genuinely funny absurdist humor, but maybe i was just too dumb to realize i was being pranked.

My favorite example of the not-funny joke told as a prank comes from an old Brooklyn bartender, who loved to tell the following to new customers:

Two hippopotamuses are sitting at the bottom of a pool.

One says "You know what? I'm gonna go up, and take a look around!'

He goes up to the top of the water, lifts his eyes up, HE LOOKS TO THE LEFT [pantomime hippo looking to left], HE LOOKS TO THE RIGHT [pantomime hippo looking to right].

He goes back down, says to the other hippo, "I didn't even know it was Sunday!" [laughs uproariously]

The bartender in question, the late Mr. Eddie Doyle of Williamsburg, explained to me the purpose of his two hippos joke: "If they laugh, that way i know they're an asshole."

I just looked at him like he was nuts the first time he told it to me, which got me several free pints. If you passed his test, he would encourage you to gather round when he told the joke to new victims.

Didn't know it was Sunday?  That joke sounds  like a Reeves and Mortimer sketch.
