Since the blogs are gone I'll continue my little series of contemporary articles on and by Crowley here whenever I find the time (and the article) for it. This one for today I never saw mentioned before anywhere. It's from 1914, two and half weeks before he boarded the "Lusitania" for New York. I am not really sure if his concerns are honest, or if he just needed a platform for his "German culture" joke. Enjoy.

Excellent post, Lutz. Many thanks.
The Blogs haven't gone, by the way, they remain in a basic form under the Content menu item. There's quite a lot of 'back record conversion' yet to be done and I have tested some more functionally-rich Blogging software...

Thanks Lutz,
I suspect his motivations were the latter. However, it is interesting to observe him writing this shortly before heading to the US where he would begin penning Pro-German propaganda.
