OZZY OSBOURNE REVEALS THE PERSON HE ALWAYS WANTED TO WRITE A SONG ABOUT

Here’s what Ozzy Osbourne stated about the background story of his song:

Mr. Crowley

I’d read several books about Aleister Crowley. He was a very weird guy and I always wanted to write a song about him.”

Jesus, Dom, do you talk for the sake of talking?

Afraid of not being heard maybe?

It was a direct copy from the article itself, simple.

Oh.....oh...silly me.  Was it?   Sorry but i didn't pass my NVQ3 in advanced ESP mind -reading.

If I would've posted a thread in all capitals that I'd copied from somewhere else I would've made a point to inform the reader that it was not an angry outburst on my behalf but was instead a replication of some crazy inane headline about a guy who doesn't write his own song lyrics anyway.

Dom, I am amazed that you created a complete dialogue all by yourself on this.

Also find it strange that you think you champion the content standards on the LAShTAL forums.

Is there a block option in here?

There is the option of sending dissident protesters to the stocks ...

Not that I've come across so far. Probably best just to ignore annoying posts.

I love that song!  From the corny "Villainous organ music " To the silly rhyming," Ride a white horse, it's symbolic of course) it is quite humorous, and I think Crowley would laugh his ass off if he were to hear it.

What song? Your post seems to be a spurious emission, for it has no quote to tell us what you are singing about.

Keep up.

Oh, I figured that out, but long after I wondered WTF you were on about. So, I caught up internally, but not externally. I will keep keep up in mind in the future, but it's not a matter of keeping up; it's a matter of knowing which thread I am on. I often have to actually read the title, because I often have three to five tabs/threads open at once.

Is there no hope for the widow's son?

Allow me to apologize for my "Cheeky"  Response.  But you threw me for a loop when you didn't understand the context of my comment.  Just as an aside, I am still transcribing The Vision and the Voice.  My dreams are becoming more intense.  The symbolism is some what disturbing, but they make sense when I review what I wrote the day before.  Last night I dreamed that I had gone insane and was in an asylum.  I couldn't remember when I had gone mad, and thought perhaps I had forgotten my actions before the realization of my insanity.  This is what Crowley meant when he wrote that when equilibrium is disrupted, the outcome is chaotic, hence demonic in nature.  Crowley is not to be toyed with lightly.

SO MOTE IT BE!

@toadstoolwe: The man just turned 81, and does not know Ozzy from a hole in the ground; make allowances for your tribal elders being, um, old. Soon enough, the fact that you have heard of Ozzy will mark you as an old fart.

Back from the woods now in case anyone missed me. As if.

does not know Ozzy from a hole in the ground

A few years ago, not that many, I had never even heard of this O.O. person. But his name got mentioned twice here on LAShTAL, so I asked the Borg for his data. I actually watched The Ozzy Rality Show for about ten minutes. He is overweight and suffering from cardiovascular difficulties. I heard he wrote as song about Crowley.

[break]

I just went to The Borg Theatre and watched Ozzy sing Mr Crowley. He was much younger then than in the TV Reality Deal, much thinner, but everyone had long hair.

[break]

"John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne (born 3 December 1948) is an English singer, songwriter, and television personality. He rose to prominence during the 1970s as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath, during which period he adopted the nickname "Prince of Darkness". -Wiki

Oh, the 70s. I remember them. Long hair was fashionable. I paid very little attention to musicians then, including Heavy Metallica.  Look, this keeping up maneuver is time-consuming. I seriously doubt that I will keep up keeping up, but it was fun enough for a trial run.

Having caught up, while pretending to keep up, I will now fall behind again. Lost in the past of rock 'n' roll (that was before "hard" rock).

He's a very experienced karate teacher.  Now ask yourself, do you think that sort of guy is going to be offended by Lashtal forum attacks whether they were unintended or not?

How dare you refer to me as "a nice man?"

Your atrocious treatment of my dork is nothing compared to how I treat others when they fail to keep up, or post twice in a row, or appear to be taking wine and strange drugs.

Please do not confuse any issues. I am the Dork from The Pit called Bee-cuz. To Mega Dorkion. I like the ring of that tone.

Nay, I have not consumed foaming liquids, nor strange drugs.  Old MacDonald was an Adept, EE-II-EE-II-OOO!

Maybe you should consider doing so, after of course consulting all possible spiritual, medical, and temporal/legal authorities.

It cannot be the case that all

Posted by: @toadstoolwe

foaming liquids, [or] strange drugs

are illicit in your current location.

Even in the most restrictive Muslim jurisdictions that ban the foamy drinks, there are substances to be obtained within the law.

In the Euro/American jurisdictions that restrict some vegetable alkaloids, foamy drinks are robustly available to those over the necessary age. At 62, you qualify everywhere (although you will be asked for ID if you buy beer at my local drug store; they ask me every time, and i am 61 and a regular customer).

Also, investigate whether you have a local medical Strange Drugs law; several of us here in the US of A are the beneficiaries of such dispensations. At 62, you probably have the lower back pain that got me my card.

@ignant666 Thanks for the advice, but I no longer drink alcohol or smoke pot, or any partake other non-prescription drug.  I have already done my drinking and drugging in my youth.  Crowley may have recommended it, but he didn't require it.  He also tried to kick the heroin habit, and he may have a longer life if he had not been so hard on his mind and body.

Well, there's always ginger ale i suppose.

And you are correct that The Demon Crowley does not "require" us to do these things, but i believe you will find that Hadit at least strongly requests that we shall (AL ii:22), but of course each Man and Woman must follow his or her own Will and Star.

I know you used the word "all," but do shamans count? They're supposed to be "spiritual," but today, a lot of them are just common medicine men who have no license. Of course, in the USA, the consumption of peyote, by anyone, is not illegal under US Law on Indian reservations.

Speaking professionally as a licensed physician and all that impotant government stuff, allow me to advise everyone that low back pain is The Most Common Complaint for which patients seek medical attention - across the full spectrum of medical providers. Although x-rays, CT scans, and even physical, diagnostic examination with the fingers can confirm that some thing is out of place, there is no way any test can deny that you are in pain (specifically in the very low back [lumbar & sacroiliac] region.

@ignant666  You are right, but each of us achieves ecstasy in different ways.  Having already opened the door through prior use of L.S.D.  I have seen it, felt, imagined it.  I don't feel I need that now.
