Ruined home of Satanist Aleister Crowley is torched by arsonists

Satanist Aleister Crowley said he would be the one to guide humanity into the so-called Aeon of Horus – an age of spiritual interest and self-realisation

The home of a real-life ‘Wicker Man‘ and former Satanist has been torched by arsonists near the shores of Loch Ness in Scotland just a week after a buyer was found.

I am confused. This story is dated November 26, 2019 (yesterday). But this same story ran on LAShTAL's headline on Jul 31, 2019. It seems the recent story is simply a repeat of something that happened 5 months ago.

Of course, it's another chance to expose the "Satanist" once again, and keep his terrifying image alive in the common folks' brain..

Yeah, I thought twice also, the fact the foundation where interviewed made me think it was recent, ie yesterday.

Maybe it's not correct.

It's a copy of the August 1st, 2019 DailyMail article on Boleskine.

And for AC as the folkloric 'Satanist' depicted in media, I'd like to play the devil's advocate and iterate (as magico-fascist sweetheart Julius Evola did in his essay on Crowley) that, while Crowley was not a Satanist, you can't go around calling yourself the Great Beast 666 and not expect the hoi polloi to misunderstand.

Not that I'm asking anyone to empathize with the common man.

In my opinion, the most egregious reference by the establishment to Crowley as a 'Satanist' was during the West Memphis Three trial, when Echols was being examined, I think.

He relished this stuff. He fanned the fires that proclaimed him the Wickedest Man in the World." In Confessions, he stated that in his early life, Jesus and Satan fought for his soul, and Satan won. This is enough ammo to fire up anti-Thelemits with all the "proof" they need.

Since we have read more Crowley than the anti-Thelemites, we know that in Magick he wrote, "The Devil does not exist ... it is an invention of the black brothers." But our knowledge of his deeper insight will have little or no effect on the Satan-mongers.

Somehow, Satan, the Devil, Lucifer, and The Great Beast have all been conveniently lumped (clumped) together in a horrifying, composite image, and projected upon 666 ("you may call me Little Sunshine").

A perhaps relevant side-light on AC's cognomen/epithet "Little Sunshine":

The Long, Strange Trip of the Chemists Behind the Legendary LSD 'Orange Sunshine'

Yes it does. A fine, historical article. In the end, The Black Lodge won. They always do, on the physical plane.

I just watched The Sunshine Makers a doco about the makers of Orange Sunshine. Released a few years ago. Pretty good. Nicolas Sands recently died and there were many obits published worldwide. But I found this one especially good:

https://www.psymposia.com/magazine/nick-sand-orange-sunshine-lsd-chemist-dies-75/

"This last Saturday, at the Psychedelic Science 2017 conference put on by the Multidisciplinary Association of Psychedelic Studies and The Beckley Foundation in Oakland, California, Nick showed up for the screening of the new movie, The Sunshine Makers, about him, Tim Scully, Bear Owsley, and their manufacture of LSD. Nick’s closing remarks to the audience, his last public words, posited that LSD helps to answer our questions:

“Who are you, who are we, what are we doing here, are we here to make war or are we here to make love?”

Nick received a standing ovation, many hugs and kind words. Mike Randall, a former LSD prisoner and leader of the Brotherhood of Eternal Love relayed that Nick said he’d never had a day like that.

I believe it was a kind of completion for him—he could see his work had produced spectacular results and psychedelics had become mainstream. High on the crowd’s love, our love, having lived a proud, free and shameless life, he had a good death. May the four winds blow him safely home."

He died the following day after his speech. The Black Lodge may have won the battle over Power and Control. But Nicolas Sands did accomplish his life's mission and psychedelic use and scientific research continues to this day.

Yes, the individual is sometimes able to succeed. Tesla brought us A.C. electricity, then he was cast aside and died a pauper. Crowley got his books out, but died an "undischarged bankrupt." The LSD makers got the acid made, but also saw the inside of a jail. In the end, every new "invention" gets absorbed by the Black Lodge. We all must be aware that it's an individual task to find one's Will, and it's never easy. AL tells us, "You shall have danger and trouble." Also, "There is a division hither homeward."
