Have watch this guys channel before when bored.

Normally enjoy the urban exploring that they do, this won't be up to much I would imagine but yet to watch it, so should reserve judgement.

Be good to get a recent view of the surrounding area and Boleskine itself.

This is your typical "ghost hunter" TV program.  The first part of the video is a group of gullible new ager types repeating the same rumors about "bad things" that had supposedly happened at Boleskine House (Suicides, unexplained fires that killed a bunch of parishioners some time in the past etc., Crowley failing to clear the house of demons)  A ouija board session where nothing happens (Except the main guy claiming the table moved) sorry, I didn't see it.  Lots of video shots of empty rooms, again nothing happens, except the group claiming that they are feeling evil energies and hearing strange sounds, that are totally inaudible to the viewer, lot's of reacting and pretending something frightened them, jump scares, shaky camera angles to give the impression of disorientation.  That's why these "Ghost hunter" programs are so bogus.

My ultra-materialist/rationalist economist dad used to see ghosts, and experience poltergeist phenomena (books jumping out of tightly-packed shelves, eg), quite regularly.

This was so despite him not believing in these things as "real" (either before or after). Dad attributed seeing/experiencing these things to some hereditary quality/taint from his mom's aunt, a spiritualist medium in the early 20th century, rather than these things being per se "real".

Unfortunately, due to being dead these 10 years, Dad will not be available to liven up these ghost-hunting shows with some indisputable phenomena, followed by him explaining why he still didn't believe in "such silly things".

Very interesting. I concur with his hereditary inheritance theory. But the "nonreality" is a good example of things we talk about around here. If the books fell on the floor, it was real.

I might suspect that he cognized that the books did fall. He then said it was not "real" because it was just an inherited aberration ...and I might suspect that that was the last place he wanted to go for further information or insight.

Whats Balderdash ?

Non departure from affirming ones cognized act ?
And not to go for further information or insight and settling there ?

or

Being open,
to the superconsciousness making evident a trace of dealing with perception in ways it has not yet fathomed and transforming the attendant ?

Shiva, Balderdash.

Again you post with no context. Do you drink much alcohol or antifreeze before you post? Which part is balder and which part is dashed? You are merely heckling, and not even  contributing.

I hereby award you the Current 333 Designation. If you don't shape up in the next 3 days, I will personally award you the most degenerate of replies ...

[Silence]

You have also not answered the question, Do you do the work?

Armchair mystical-magicians seem to be associated with Trollism, a Cardinal Sin.

Whats Balderdash ?

He is mentally unbalanced. Says so in his posts and predictions. He is a loose cannon about to be rolled over the starbound rail into the deep blue sea [the sound of Silence].

The problem is that any scientist who intends to write papers on this subject is secretly scorned and laughed at by his idiot academic brethren hence his bio-oral survival and ape-canine food chain angst overrides what he is supposed to be doing i.e. science
