The Bizarre Russian Prophet Rumored to Have Putin’s Ear

For instance: Dugin has had a lifelong obsession with the occult, ranging from the legacy of magician and huckster Aleister Crowley (a 1995 video shows him reciting a poem at a ceremony honoring Crowley in Moscow) to much more sinister Nazi occultism.

Hey Mr Article Writer,  I think AC liked to entertain, and was often tongue-in-cheek in his hyperbole, but I definitely wouldn't degrade the man with a label like Huckster. . .

All you need to know about the article is that is published by a bunch of political scam artists. who are the real hucksters, vampires of public opinion who support NATO's Nazi's in the Ukraine as evidenced by William Kristol, the smarmy neocon liar and endless promoter of perpetual war and what is knee jerk hatred of Putin.

My comment is not an endorsement of Alexander Dugin per say as I have not really evaluated his work, but I know am familiar with the evil of William Kristol.

I find it funny that Dugin reciting Liber Ararita gets attention (that video is on so many conspiracy theorist videos) but none of these people even realize that text is on the levels of perceiving God, from anthropomorphic all the way down to the Lord of Silence. I wonder what Dugin was reciting the first chapter of the liber for.

It's funny though that the conspiracy types see that video and they're like "oh no! he's worshiping his lord Lucifer!!!!" when the chapter describes the general exoteric Abrahamic God as well as some forms of Pagan deity.

"There is none that shall be cast down or lifted up: all is ever as it was." - Liber Legis 2:58
"To Me do ye reverence! to me come ye through tribulation of ordeal, which is bliss." - Liber Legis 3:62

What happened to Blavatsky?

(I know she died, but where's her link in the big chain?)

Rasputin died too, though it seems it took some effort to make that happen.

I'm pretty fond of Gurdjieff

@shiva Okay, Rasputin is the second only true prophet in Russia. I would also add Tolstoy, writer and Christian mystic.

In addition to Gurdjieff, Maria de Nagloswka, although she spent her career was mostly in France, was Russian born.

@katrice Gurdjieff I've heard of, but I don't know his philosophy very well.  I'll have to read P.D. Ouspensky's biography about him.  Maria de Nagloswka is new to me, I guess she was a proponent of "Sex Magic"  I could see Crowley being impressed.  Thanks for introducing me to new people of interest.

You're welcome!

The 4th Way is pretty interesting. A completely different, non-Ceremonial approach to initiation. I made a comment in another thread comparing his true and false centers to the 8 circuit model and to A:.A:. gradework.

Maria is one of my obsessions.  In the 1930s she created an esoteric group, the Confrerie de la Flèche d'Or, which took a "Satanic", more like Gnostic, approach to initiatory work, and indeed involved sex magick. She was also responsible for having compiled and distributed PB Randolph's ideas.  Her ideas were little known aside from references here and there until the 2010s when a lot of her writings were finally published more widely.

@katrice You have given me a lot to hew on.  I found a copy Sexual Magic by P.B. Randolph published by Magickal Childe Books on the internet archive, I'll probably start reading it tomorrow. If I can find any online editions of Maria de Nagloswka's books online, I will read those too.  Thanks  again!

I believe the reported words were "You are filthy!  All dirty inside!  You never come in my house again!"

I'm happy I turned you on to some new things!   Randolph was very influential, but not as well known as he should be.

@shiva Interesting!  Where can I find that in published writing?  WHY did he think Crowley was evil?

@katrice I read his bio on Wikipedia, he sounds like a very, very interesting American.  Given his background, it is amazing that he was allowed to practice medicine at all.

Oh, the whole story is in Beelzebub and The Beast (a book). AC went to visit G one day, and G threw him out with the phrase quoted by katrice. I don't know if there's more detail in the story.

"They" let me do it - so anybody can pull it off.

I believe the standards for practicing medicine were different then.

If you want more, John Patrick Deveney's biography of Randolph, Paschal Beverly Randolph: A Nineteenth-Century Black American Spiritualist, Rosicrucian, and Sex Magician, is the definitive work on him.

How could you keep forgetting when you never knew it in the first place? Since I have never gotten into false flattery flittings as a topic, you must have picked it up telepathically. Anyway, false praise and putrid glorification are, I think, capital offences.

@shiva I should known better having gotten the Seven of Cups in my last B.O.T. Tarot reading.  Believe me, those cards don't lie.  As Crowley, "The Tarot cuts like a razor".

"The Tarot cuts like a razor".

And the Trigrams pierce to the core.

I like them both. Except for Voids and Retrogrades, I'm not so pleased with Astro, because it is kinda shaky in the day-to-day stuff. That is, would you use Astro as your Guide to the Stock and Bond Market? I thought not.

Then we have Geomancy. I looked this up, sixty years ago, and found absolutely nothing of any use whatsoever. This is a specialty of you Inner Earthers but, as a surface-dweller, I had to pass it by. Then, a few decades later, I was introduced in a very direct way ... to Feng Shui. The heathen hard-working Chinese people have an aeons-old approach to working in harmony with the environment. As usual, I ended up teaching the course for a few years and then writing the book.

Let's bundle all of these in a moon-colored sheet of silk and put them on their Path, which is the Malkuth to Netzach Express, lunar in description because these all reflect the situation.

Now bundle this with the Instruments, Books, and Other Tools, and what do I have left? Oh, wait, that's a topic for another thread. Let's apply it to the "bizarre" psychic who holds Putin'e ear, which is this thread. So what? Most (all?) big shots have advisors from ALL the fields. It's only when an advisor is "psychic," or dabbles in Astro, or some other reflective trick in the Moon Bundle, that the Established Establishment (E.'.E.'. = 10) freaks out an calls it bizarre.

@shiva You're preaching to the choir!  There is nothing that I could possibly add or detract from your comment about various forms of divination.
