There was a film reviewed on the BBC film review a few days ago called The Love Witch. It caught my attention because the reviewer described it as 'a Kenneth Angery magical incantation' which I thought was quite an explicit reference for the BBC outside of University Challenge. It is an excellent film with a heavy magical theme and I'm sure there is a lot of symbolism which I might have missed on the first viewing. I must admit that I found the protagonista rather intimidating in places. This film would appeal to anyone with an interest in Thelema and related subjects.

Many thanks for the heads up.

Did anyone notice the third member on the cast list?

Laura Waddell as Trish

This flame-haired actress is a Britainoid.

Waddell

It was the unusual surname Waddell that stood out. Crowley had a Scarlet Woman with the same surname.

The film is very good, even at 2hrs. It is very funny and, thank God, sexy. There is a big Hitchcock influence but also Kenneth Anger, David Lynch (a tiny bit) and some of The Wicker Man (the Ewar Woowar version).

If you can't get hold of this film than you haven't missed a huge amount, but I feel a better and stronger human being who will live far longer for having seen it.

So now you know how it feels, dom, even if you didn't before; perhaps you'll bear it in mind in the future in terms of managing to provide sufficient information to "flesh out" some of your own unsatisfactory allusions made in the course of your postings?

So you think 'Wilson number 1' and 'Wilson number 2' (both have their own sections of the forum dedicated to them)  are as tenuous a link as the one here concerning the British actress?

More tenuous, in fact.

"Waddell" is a much less common surname than "Wilson", and there is only one of her.

The numbering is confusing even if someone guesses you mean Colin and Robert Anton of that ilk- are you numbering chronologically, in perceived importance, some other way- who knows?
