The final statement on the third link leads me to think that Rabelais was not the original inspiration for the name.
I knew of them for many long times, they might have an interest in Rabelais and his story of the Abbey of Thelema, but I see not and don't think they have actually something to do with Crowley and his religion of Thelema, they probably have nice tasting wines, but that's it, I feel.
Discussed in an earlier thread.
If you can find a bottle for under £20 .... get me 2!
My wife and I had a bottle of this whilst on honeymoon in Mauritius a few years ago. A good wine, I thought, if a tad expensive.
Ive said it before, but ill say it again.....the Shiraz 2002 is very special. But, as you say, very expensive.
This is off topic but have you ever been to Kerala?
Reason for asking is I was searching for a website to show my girlfriend which hotel in Kovalam I wanted to take her to. One of the hits google provided did indeed reference the hotel along with a review of the facilities by a "Michael Staley"
And the question has been bugging me ever since! 😉
Ps I couldn't find an Ashram that had Liber Al in it...............
No Spike, it wasn't me. I've never been to Kerala, and haven't been to India since my one and (to date) only trip there in 1980.
I wasn't aware of the earlier thread. Thought I'd made a discovery!
