The Moot with No Name presents:

Dec 5 Geraldine Beskin and friends

Riddling the Ashes

Sixty years to the day after the cremation of Aleister Crowley we ask:
did the self-styled Great Beast 666, the Wickedest Man in the World, simply have a wicked sense of humour? With readings and rare images, Geraldine Beskin of Atlantis Bookshop leads us through some nooks and crannies of Crowley's life and work and shows that the Old Sinner
may be dead but he won't lie down!
Alternate Wednesdays, 7.30 for 8pm. Upstairs, Devereux pub near Temple
tube station. £2.

Opposite the Royal Courts of Justice on the Strand (near Aldwych) is a
Tudor-style pub, the George. The Devereux is down the alley next to

Well, didn't that go well! Packed to the rooftops, excellent stuff in the first section and then a worthy Soror and myself performing the Hymn to Pan as a duet. Still buzzing from it!

Thanks to all who turned up and especially Geraldine Beskin of Atlantis Bookshop for organising and speaking.

I thought 'Sethur' sounded familiar, and your signature does indeed tell me it is you.

We once met in unusual circumstances back in early 2002, which you may or may not recall. You at least probably weren't aware that some cheeky bugger filmed the incident.

Go ahead... Just frolic in the agony of it!

I did actually want to come to your event yesterday for a b-day merry-up but was sick from something I contracted at the Prospect of Whitby on Sunday. Will be coming to the MWNN in January for definite.

Hope all's well & the Beast to you...

Ah! The Horse Hospital ritual performance by the Whisperers In Darkness! No, not only we we well aware of the filming, it was a student project by the girlfriend of one of the WIDs. We were hoping tol do a DVD but kind of lost contact with the band, who we hadn't met but who accompanied the ritual brilliantly.

Cheltenham Horse Racing event is soon to take place, God willing.

I noticed that in the following race,

the French horse Abacadabras is strongly fancied. No odds yet, but it will be worth an each way punt, as long as the ground is good to soft.
