Hi Loveisthelaw,

To be honest your better off looking on abebooks if you want a copy, I know they have a couple. Ebay is ok too, I was fortunate enough to find my copy there however its not too often it appears.

Good luck πŸ˜‰

the abebooks sellers who have it won't accept Paypal. and ebay isn't offering it at this time. maybe with a bit of patience...

anyone else?

Hi.
You can read all of the contents of Amrita except the notes for free at the baphonet site. It also includes items not in the published version.
Best wishes Robert.

Are you looking for the "deluxe" edition of which only 33 were made? You mentioned leather bound, which is the deluxe edition (atleast that's what it says inside the book). There were 1,000 total Amrita books made, 33 of which are numbered and leather bound and I can't even imagine how much those sell for, since the cloth hardbacks are around $150.00 or more on average.

I was looking for this book myself and finally one showed up on eBay (first and only that I have seen) and I ended up winning the auction for $102.00. That was the best price I could find for this book (and I wanted to find one in excellent condition with absolutely no writing inside - crisp pages and tight binding - was basically new besides the cloth cover seems to rub very easily. The only other Amrita books I could find at the time were on Amazon.com from private sellers, but the cheapest there was $150.00, so I'd check Amazon if you're interested in this book and see if they still have it for sale.

I recently started collecting some of Crowley's books and I was happy with adding this one to my collection. It's not only an interesting read, but with the limited printing and being the first and only edition I thought it'd be a good investment for a hundred dollars.

93 and good luck!

Is this the Baphonet file-- b343.arj? Baphonet notes that's "partial", and I don't see anything that looks different than the published version (although admittedly I no longer have a copy of this book, hence my interest). Seems a little short, but it's this:
Liber CCCXLIII: AMRITA
Some Comments on the Elixir of Life
Extracted from the Magical Record of the Beast 666
for the year 1920 e.v.

$102.00 is a good price for this book. I've always wondered why other Teitan books, such as The Winged Beetle go for so much less.

Thelema Publications List (not yet priced) 1982 & Excerpt from Books in Print (priced) 1993. Seems the popular edition went for $21.95 USD new. See below file (with cookies enabled)
