93,

Wanted to buy at reasonable price: ALL Kenneth Grant books (Typhonian trilogies, AOS books he wrote, and the novellas. Poetry books also)

If anyone may have letters (I have seen some in ebay, but always lose the auction!) or any other rarities I will check it out.

Wanted also any Crowley books, Equinox set, collected works, signed books, letters, etc

Well, that's about it! Best wishes to all!
Please, contact me at NIHILITYPROD6@GMAIL.COM

Ricardo, did the ones I bought from you that never showed up ever resurface? I'm glad I was able to file a paypal claim before the time expired.

I was a bit disappointed after previous good sales with ricardo soto aka manuel negron aka goodness knows what, when i ordered a ring that was purportedly owned by crowley (no thats not why i bought it, i like to wear them) and was told it had no designs but was in fact covered in engraved flowers when it arrived. that he 'couldnt see' and then i was unable to get my money back. Just saying. Caveat emptor.

wow... the happy customers are coming out of the woodwork...

A word to the wise, avoid sellers who try and delay you with assurances past the paypal claim window... File and get your money back before the cutoff date.

I do hope that KingLamus responds to these posts.

While 'caveat emptor' is correct, I will not allow this site to be used by sellers/buyers unless they demonstrate absolute integrity.

Lashtal/Paul: Yes, I will respond.

einDoppelganger: We have, and had been in contact before you paying for the books. Why didn't you messaged this privately to me on my personal e-mail, which I gave you before even offering the books to you? I waited for the money from you patiently, as I truly understood what you had explained to me. I DID send the books to you after you had payed me the last part of the deal. Now, if you wish, and this goes for everyone who has doubts or change of mind about me or my integrity, to make people "aware" of me, you are more than welcome to. I have nothing to hide, and do not have to hide from anyone here or anywhere. And I have no need to steal, rob or screw anyone.

christibrany: I gave you all the information about the rings that was given to me when I bought them. You had the choice, which I gave you, to buy or not to buy. You had the chance to look at the pictures, the time to make up your mind, and I asked you to take the time you needed to buy or not. You emailed me after some time had passed and told me you wanted the rings, which IN YOUR OPINION, were not Crowley's, but you liked them, wanted to wear them, and had the opportunity to choose and pay me what you had at the time. I understood your economic situation, asked you to pay me what you could, and sent you the rings. You had made transactions with me in the past and NEVER had any problems. And these were several transactions and you know it. Again, I gave you the information that was given to me. I will not trouble myself with what you or anyone thinks about me, you ARE ENTITLED AS IS EVERYONE to think what you wish.

qayinricin: Yes, I sent the book to you. You, and the other that are complaining are only a few of the individuals who I have made transactions with. I have never had other complaints from anyone who have made transactions with me in the past.

You are all entitled to your opinions about me.

The photos were blurry enough that when I asked you to explain what was on them you told me you couldnt see anything. Which is pretty strange because they have strong carvings. If I had known that I wouldnt have bought them. Plus you never responded to my 4 or 5 emails after wards asking for at least a partial refund and I would return it.

And, I have no "Aka's" Chris. The email in which you contacted me is my brother's email. I have given here my personal email. About the pictures, I did responded and said I had done the best I could to send you the pictures in the best quality possible.

I have nothing against you personally but i dont think it would have been too hard to 1. tell me there were carvings on it of flowers and 2. to respond to my many emails about a refund instead of suddenly responding here. Its not professional.
Heres the photo and why I asked you some more details about what it really looked like:

You were sent more than that picture Chris. I know this as well as you do. And I explained to you/warned you about the pictures.

All the other photos I have in my box are of different rings. I still dont see how hard it would have been to respond earlier. At this point I dont even want my money back. I just want to forget about it. I just thought I would add to this sad parade.
It was all the more surprising because you sent me books at good prices so to ignore ones requests to return merchandise is not good. But c'est la vie. Thats all from me.

You claim to have sent them but they never arrived. When I filed a paypal claim at the last min you kicked up a fuss and tried to claim the books would still arrive and you were entitled to some money if they didn't. Sorry, but I just dont believe you mailed them (especially since you had no tracking or other proof). You tried to delay my suspicion as long as possible but I am aware of that tactic and I would not be caught in the "wait for the paypal refund window to close" game.

I had a problem similar with somebody else over rock t shirt merchandise. I contacted the buyer with no luck and was ignored by the buyer entirely. The buyer only delivered half the items acquired. I was not aware of the 45 day policy and thought I was out of $25.00. I called Pay Pal direct and explained I left phone messages and e-mails to this buyer. I got no response from the seller and his website. Pay Pal was kind of enough to provide me a $25.00 credit to use for my next Pay Pal purchase because I never had filed a claim and the amount of the claim was not significant. I still filed a complaint by phone against this con artist since the complaint on line due to the 45 day expiration would not be recognized by Pay Pal. His Pay Pal is no longer applicable on his website. My point is you can still complain by phone to Pay Pal and E-bay to hopefully force them to black ball these dishonest people. Those who try to con and take advantage of others in this dishonest manner described really do upset and disgust me.

Once, I ordered a book from Stephen Skinner’s Golden Hoard, it came damaged and the book was delivered beyond the 45 day Pay Pal policy. Stephen Skinner kindly sent me a replacement copy and apologized for the inconvenience.

From my experience, I try to use Pay Pal for reputable sellers in a limited capacity. I took a risk with Moneygram to acquire the Tarot of Lucifer from Moscow, Russia and received positive feedback about the seller on the Tarot Collectors Forum before proceeding. Hopefully, I will never have to do risky transactions again.

That's a pretty awful experience; it's also an excellent reminder of the importance of the 45 day window, and not to listen to the protestations of sellers.

Oh, and I am the one who outbids you on the Grant letters - snap!

Good luck with your future sales...

Update - out of curiosity I went back and read my trail of messages with "King Lamus" where I arranged to buy the set of trilogies from him.

Ricardo Negron
aka
Ricardo Soto

See here

I don't believe Varzon is Ricardo, they just seem to know each other. I have never bought fron varzon but his interactions on the forum have been pleasant and informative!

In any case, when it comes to Ricardo...buyer beware.

Just leaving this here for posterity. Carry on.
