93's.

It's been in the works for a few months and finally it's for real: i started my own small independent occult book publishing company: Aeon Sophia Press.

The first book is currently being printed. I expect the first copies to be delivered in the end of March/beginning of April.

E.J. Alvey - Blood From Heaven

Weโ€™re pleased to present our first published title โ€˜Blood From Heavenโ€™ by E.J. Alvey. A fiction novel written by a passionate writer and a charismatic personality.

This novel is inspired by the author's personal experience and study of Theurgia, Goetia, Ritual Magick, Thelema, Sex Magick, and other aspects of Occult practice as a ranking priestess of Templum Babalonis.

'Templum Rouge' edition

Limited to 500 exemplars.

Scarlet red cloth-bound hardback,
Black silk-ribbon bookmark,
High quality paper, 314 pages,
Gold lettering on spine and Gold stamped seal on front.

You can pre-order the book via: www.aeonsophiapress.com

Also more info is there to be found about the author and the book or check my facebook page.

Thank you very much, Johan.ย  ๐Ÿ™‚

The book is available now!!ย  ๐Ÿ™‚

I've cut down the shipping cost a bit. For worldwide it's for a post-package up to 2 Kilogram โ‚ฌ20,-.

I understand it's alot of money, especially when ordering 1 copy of the book. To make it more attractive to order a copy...the shipping cost is now โ‚ฌ10,- Worldwide!

I've contacted several bookshops and distributors in USA. I hope to receive a reply from them soon...it would be great if some of them are willing to buy-in a few copies...so USA and Canada buyers can avoid paying for high shipping rates.

Please find more info at the webstore: www.aeonsophiapress.com

You can also find my via Facebook.

Thank you, Johan Boomsma

Thank you for the kind words. ๐Ÿ™‚

Yes, the artwork is done by Dolorosa De La Cruz. Her other art and drawings are totally differant compared to what we choose to put in this book.

We selected these, because they fit perfectly to the author's story.

I have still plenty copies available!ย  ๐Ÿ˜€

Johan.

Hi everybody,

Just a small question...i'm posting his just to get an idea if anybody here would be willing to buy a copy of the book....

The plan is to re-print David Cherubim's 'Diary of the antichrist' as a high quality clothbound hardback edition.

The book was first published in 2008 as a softcover paperback version...'print-on-demand' type of quality.

How it looks now is that David Cherubim want to re-print the book as a softcover version and i will do the hardback. This will be for both versions a revised edition, with corrected and/or added text and with a new internal lay-out as well as new cover design.

The original idea was that David Cherubim would publish the softcover himself and then i would publish the hardback......but there are some delays and it will take a while before the softcover is launched.

Therefore, i'm thinking about to publish the hardback first, instead of waiting for the softcover to be ready.....ofcourse only with David's permission.

The first edition of the book has been out there for some time, and what i understood is that it sold very good. Based on this knowledge, i assume that most people who are interested already have the book (softcover).

I just want to be carefull, since producing a high quality clothbound hardback book cost alot of money, and i just want to check how the response to such a book would be.

I guess if alot of people are interested to buy a hardback edition of the book, than i would really want to take the next step and go into production.

I'm posting this message here because i think that most of you are familiar with David Cherubim's work and probably appreciate it.

If i would publish the book, it will most likely be a one time print of 500 copies max. To cover the production cost, i need to sell at least 225 copies...to be on the save side.

Selling the remaining copies will make a small profit, but from that taxes and royalties and other costs must be deducted. I will probably break even or make a real small profit of it....which i can invest in other publications.

Please let me know what you think.

Best regards, Johan.

I think you should create a website with a "coming soon" feature that allows people to build up their desire for a title for a bit. You can also have forums there, so they can sit and talk about it with each others and build up desire for it there too. Then you will get a more accurate gauge of your audience, without having to ask the questions you are asking.

This is not meant to be rude at all, but it almost seems like you are asking us random people here to help you make a business decision.

Ha yes,

You are totally right.

I thought i post a message here to see what kind of reaction i would get. Hmm, i guess i wasn't really awake when i posted that message.

At this moment i do not have the option to subscribe or a forum.

Although, a brand new website is currently in the works.

...a poll would be nice...click 'yes' or 'no'. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Best regards, Johan.

You could start a thread on the subject of David's works that you plan to publish, and add a poll to it in order to determine interest on this site. I'm not sure that you can add a poll to this thread, only at the creation of the thread.

Best of luck.

I think book publishing something of a mine field - unless, there is a clear demand, I would say 'print on demand' books are the way to go, as it is less risky for the publisher.

Next week i will officially make an announcement of the next book to be published!

It will be a non-fiction book of occult art & magickal practise and text. This will be an approx 200 pages large FOLIO sized book, gold foil lettering and stamps and high quality paper.

There will be a regular clothbound and a very limited deluxe leatherbound edition available.

Small independant occult book publishers, like Aeon Sophia, depend greatly on paid pre-order reservations. Therefore i decided to take the time needed to promote the author and his book and to take pre-orders asap.

If no delays occur, we will be able to ship the first pre-ordered books in the 3rd week of August. ๐Ÿ™‚

Please find via the link below an exstensive synopsis of the forthcoming book.

"Whisperings from the Void: The Amaranthine Arcanum of Holy Image and Revealed Exegesis'' consists of two books that are connected by various threads of thought and philosophy, emotion and praxis, devotion and gnosis. I'm looking forward to Patrick's book very much. The "sneak peek" at its inner contents only heightens my enthusiasm for what will clearly be-not just a tome on the arcane arts-but a work of art filled with artworks!ย
