I am interested in purchasing a copy of Hell Fire Club Books publication 'Amor Divina'

It had been available for an affordable $150 or so but I did not snap it up and now I can't find a copy.

Please contact me at chris dot stibrany at gmail dot com if you have a copy and are willing to part with it.

Thank you kindly.

I managed to get a copy, which is rare considering who was binding and selling it.
Sadly I am not selling though. I am sure that they will be like hens teeth now!

My question is ... "Does this rare book contain the secret of liberation (from the mind (what else?), or is it just something that's hard to buy?"

@shiva

It has the oto and other 'secret' 'sex magick' writings but I would still class it as the latter category

@ptoner

I am kicking myself for not buying it about three months ago at that price

Sure you are joking at that price?

Actually a nice person saw this thread and my copy arrived today, for a fifth of that.  Thanks again!

@ignant666, I'm surprised you didn't maybe think of also making reference to the thread which you yourself started six months ago here on the "Magick" board, where you pointed out that

Anyone who reads AC's sex magick diaries cannot fail to notice that this method virtually always fails its master and proclaimer, and the few "successes" can best be attributed to wishful thinking/special pleading. My results have not been any better.

Despite the clear evidence this method is a dud, AC persists- one might almost get the sense he was what is now called a "sex addict", cloaking his neurotic need for coupling devoid of intimacy in spiritual gobbledygook ("gobble de [the] gook" being an old slang term (that has come to mean "nonsense") for "c" above).

and asked (as in its topic title), "Does this ["sex magick"] ever work, in any sense not rooted in self-delusion?"

If, as you made a case for, it doesn't, then even a couple of hundred dollars is money unwisely blown on no great secrets or anything apparently worthwhile, with all of its contents capable of being tracked down elsewhere for either nothing on the internet or at a fraction of the cost, and with the only real "value" being for bibliophiles or obsessive book collectors (which amounts to pretty much the same thing & for whom there is little hope).

Just because he has had no success does not mean that other people have not.  Mine have worked A-OK and beyond happenstance or randomness.

Not to mention 'it's' fun.

And I am a bibliophile. I don't mind.

But I find as I  'age' I am not so obsessive about their state or happiness of my stable.

They are just things after all.

Endearingly yours, James,

Just because he [Aleister Crowley] has had no success does not mean that other people have not.

As the bulk of the contents appears to have been deludedly written or at least influenced by him, he's not exactly coming through from the position of an experienced expert with results, is he.  What real value therefore would these writings have?

Subjectively that's fine.  But what due you mean by (how is it) beyond randomness?

Spoken like a true 'de luxe devotee'!

which could always be denial, of course!

No I'm serious. I don't plan to let the rest go for 10x that. You ever see the price for Andrew Chumbley early editions? The entire Thelemic canon is heading to that price point. Which is fairly amusing considering most of the content is copyright free.

Good luck with your investments.

At least there are still some sane people about in regards to price points.

I have plenty of Chumbley and they are not in the thousands.

If you are aging, the Elixir of Immortality is not working.

If it works 93%+ of the time, it is not random. Less than that gets no points.

I never ate no helix sir.

Aside from getting lost in the double negatives, which indicated you are helix-based, like all of us down here, I wish to inform you that "helix-eating" (committed by all units who consume any form of biological matter) is not one of the Libers or a required practice. So you may move on to the next pylon. Congratulations and Fare-Thee-Well.

It sucks when a nice man like Jimi Hendrix chokes on his own helix and dies.

Paul as a reminder you can lock this.

I got me book.

Best to you sir.

The Moderator (similar to Ippy, Achad, "One," but in a different slice of the hologram) rarely locks a thread because they succeed, but rather when it falls into that Pit called Off-Topic Too Long, or maybe when somebody has a meltdown ... like we get to see maybe two or three times per rev annum.

We (Maat and I) will be weighing the outcome of the reminder. Perhaps your entire future is hanging in The Balance. Maybe mine as well. But it's too late to go back, isn't it?
