Behold! 'Tis I!
Well I have been observing the forum for awhile now, so I expect it's high time I introduce myself.
Frater Julianus here: OTO initiate for many years now, presently Secretary of Onnophris Oasis in the Valley of Indianapolis and working to organise a new Camp in southern Indiana. I've edited and written a number of OTO newsletters over the years—now I'm working on some books (details to follow in due time).
Welcome to Lashtal, Julianus! Looking forward to your participation.
Indianapolis... stomping grounds for me from almost 25 years ago at the Department of Defense Information School at Fort Benjamin Harrison up on the Northeast Side near Lawrence! I saw a couple of killer shows while there... The Grateful Dead... Weird Al Yankovitch... had a 2-day drunken blackout for the Inner Field Party at the Indy 500... amazing I didn't get arrested... I was a world-class drunken bastard then...
What was the big Club district there... Broad Ripple? We used to hit some killer punk clubs there back in the day...
Fr. Walter in Houston
Always glad to see another Hoosier enter the fold.
Welcome to LAShTAL...
Welcome to LAShTAL...
Oh? Whereabouts in Hoosierland might you be?
I'm up north in a rural farming town between Marion and Kokomo.
Haha, never expected to see many Hoosiers here 🙂 I was born and raised in Ft Wayne. I spent the first 18 years of my life there. Although, aside from my family being there, there wasn't much for me and I left...
Julianus, we have met. I was introduced to you through Bloomington Freemasonry's Past Master, Joel Sterret. I ate pizza with you in your condo in Bloomington. I attended a Gnostic Mass at the universalist unitarian church by your suggestion, and met with some of your OTO colleagues in Indianapolis.
After that we lost touch.
You were a tall, long haired fellow and substituted teaching in high schools at the time.
'substitute taught' as a substitute for writing.
Welcome, Brother Julianus!
In the Bonds of the Order,
Hi Julianus, welcome to the forums! As you've probably seen, we have a healthy mix of Thelemites (and other unmentionables!) from all walks of life, and we have some really good discussions and a few vigorous disagreements from time to time -- I hope you enjoy it as much as I do 🙂
