Although I've been a member for a while, I've never used the forums or posted an introduction. So here's the reader's digest version.

I am a student of Thelema, a Greco-Egyptian polytheist, Setian(not ToS), and perpetual student of philosophy. Concerning Thelema, I generally favor Kenneth Grant's interpretation although I do not limit myself to any one point of view exclusively.

I'm 45 & have been happily married for 16 years. I am presently disabled and am caregiver to my wife who is finishing up her treatment for breast cancer.

So thats the quick synopsis. Looking forward to getting into conversations as time permits. 😀

Welcome also from me Seti_Apollonius, did not know there were other Setians outside Temple of Set, regarding Thelema I also seem to have an interest in Kenneth Grants views, though also not exclusively, as I live I try and learn from different angles, best wishes, Alysa

Thanks to both of both of you for the welcome. 😀

Alysa,

I thought the same about Setians, but I've come across more and more people who are of the same basic philosophy as ToS, but are not a member of the ToS organization for one reason or another. 8)

Son of the Star,

It's a pleasure to meet you. Man, Lashtalian Louisianian is a mouthful though. lol

Greetings Seti! Welcome! I too am a Grant enthusiast. Also from the South (AL). I'm gonna open a Lodge of the E.O.D. somewhere in the South, as there are none down here. This may be a couple of years away, but "we" need a Lodge in this part of the country. Just to let my fellow interested Southerners know.
