Greetings,

Bumbled onto this space while looking for pictures of the AC's
Rites of Eleusis. Saturday January 10th will be a Full Moon on Saturday.
A month later will be a Full Moon on Monday february 9th. This will be
the only time this year idealy suited for a performance of Crowley's
Rites of Eleusis. Saturday January 10th - Saturn. Thursday January 15th
- Jupiter. Tuesday January 20th - Mars. Sunday January 25th - Sol
(also a Solar Eclipse). Friday January 30th - Venus. Wednesday February 4th
- Mercury. Monday February 9th - Luna.
The cycle begins and ends on a Full Moon. It starts with Saturn in Virgo
and ends with Luna in Virgo.

Welcome to 2009

Vandimir

Welcome. The last three or so days I've been studying through some other ideas about the rites of Eleusis. That is, I got the book "Road to Eleusis" which I've been reading whenever I found free time. I also visited the site of of Eleusis last year when I was in Greece.

What I've read about Crowley's Rites of Eleusis didn't seem so much connected with much of the stuff that we know about the real rites.

I'm interested to hear about where you've found about the important dates, etc, if you don't mind.

And yes, welcome to Lashtal, Vandimir!

Crowley's Rites of Eleusis should not be confused with the much older Eleusinian mystery
school and their rites. Crowley's are a series of seven dramatic invocations of Planerary
energies. I believe they were first performed in Caxton Hall, Westminster, London in
about 1941. In the late 1970's I was with Nuit-Urania camp, of the OTO when we performed
several productions of the Rites.

Vandimir, the Rites of Eleusis were reformed in 1910 not 1941.

The permutation of reformed/performed should almost be included in the Joyce thread. 😉

Edit: I was just about to write a damn reply at your genius and they you try to correct it.
