Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.

Hello all!  🙂

I am very happy to be a member here. I have been a long-time lurker learning about Thelema, Aleister Crowley and more. I am not terribly new to Crowley and Thelema, but I have recently come to fully embrace the Book of the Law and Thelema. I don't claim to "understand" it all, or even most of it. But it seems to resonate with me.
Don't get me wrong, I don't worship Crowley or anything, but I am definitely impressed by him and consider him a wonderfully fascinating individual. I have begun to really dive in to learn all I can about him and what he has created, whatever that may bring up about the man whether good or bad.

I am not a member of any of his magickal orders, nor do I plan to be. While I admit they interest me, I am almost certain they will likely remain a subject of interest. I say that without any disrespect whatsoever.

I have an intense fascination with the study of various religions of both East and West as well as various philosophies including those of Albert Camus, Dostoevsky, and Epictetus among others. Not that I embrace those particular philosophers, I just find them intriguing.  ;D

I admit, I may not be the most talkative at first, but once I get more comfortable and familiar with people here, or see conversations that really catch my eye, I likely will just jump in.  😀

Anyhow, I hope to talk with you all and I am certain I will enjoy my time here.

Love is the law, love under will.

If you’re a long time lurker it’s probable that you might be familiar with the little old refrain, “We accept you, we accept you, one of us, one of us”.

You are well come!  Greetings & welcome Jaidyn.  (You’re most welcome.)

I look forward to being able to read your contributions whenever you feel more like jumping in.  Meanwhile all the best:

Yours in Thelema,
Norma N Joy Conquest

Welcome to LAShTAL...and Greetings from(and in) Thelema! I've been a serious student of Crowley's Work for almost 50 years, so while I'm not new to Thelema, I certainly AM new to the world of computers. Forgive me if I make mistakes along the road. I'm glad to have a correspondent!

And a welcome to LAShTAL to you too, Jeffrey. You'll soon get the hang of the forums; it's often a bit strange at first. Good to see you here.

It's my turn to say hello. I am Jeffrey's wife, Ruth. We have only tonight found an online keyboard which will allow us to include our mathematics in posts. I wanted to find out from those who are interested in the Thelematics resulting from our work with the K'rla Cell what is your interest level and experience with mathematics? In the past we heard from mathematicians that our work is "too occult" and occultists have told us that our results are "too mathematical". We are hoping to find a more receptive audience from LAShTAL as we are in the process of creating new blog posts.
