Hello, I am an English Freemason with a keen interest in subjects related to Freemasonry, ie history, theology, philosophy, etc.

Frater Crowley first attracted my attention over a decade ago and I have enjoyed much of his writing. I have also come to know many Thelemites.
Thelema is a subject of great interest to me and I admire a lot of the teachings and have found Thelemites to be fascinating people although I have no wish to join. I am not, as such, a religious man but do hold fast to the moral and ethical debate and find that the ancient teachings have come through from bygone ages to modern things such as Thelema & Freemasonry; for me the truth of the matter is that such things are inbred and part of our genetic DNA. Every man and woman truly knows what they should and should not do and have no need of laws or dogma to guide them. "Do as thou whilt!" sums this up.

Kind regards & salutations

Keith

But unfortunately without any respect for copyright. I have deleted the link to your file sharing and bit torrent page.

Future posts will require pre-moderation.

Is there no hope for the widow's son?" Please note that there are plenty of places to "join" that proclaim Thelemanism (or is it Thelemanity?), many of which are suspected of being Tongs.

However, Thelema is a philosophy, a "Way" of approaching life (and death). "Thelemado" in Japanese. If you agree with the general principle ("Do what thou wilt"), and you signed up as a lashtal member (yes, you have, because you posted here inside the sanctuary), then you have "joined." Welcome to the octagon.

The delightful Count.Cagliostro sent this update via Private Message:

You wanted an intro & I gave one. That was not spam it was simply me telling everyone who I was. So much for Do what thou wilt. Crowley would be so very proud of you all. It's a shame you don't carry on the great work that he started.

Adios wankers.

Just for the record, the user is, of course, being disingenuous. The 'spam' referred to was his inclusion of a link to a personal page in '4shared.com', a spamming site that seeks payment for the download of copyright files (his page listed several Crowley titles plus hundreds of megabytes of material on allied subjects) and bit torrent links to the same.

I always wanted to be a wanker ... now I am.
Along with the rest of us.
Anybody that picks up his marbles and goeth elsewhere to annoy at the slightest provocation is surely not fit for our company. Such a reaction and such language from a freemason who didn't want to "join" anyway.

He's now added the following text to his 4shared.com page: '*** PLEASE READ THIS MESSAGE*** Ebook files for the use of masonic education only; not for profit or personal gain_ If you see any file that is a breach of copyright please inform me & it will be removed_'

All while still listing many hundreds of copyright files including 33 volumes of Ars Quatuor Coronatorum

It's funny that so many fruitcakes think "Do what thou wilt" means "Thou shalt never call anyone out for their behavior."

Well, it must not have been his Will to post what he did, because somebody said, "Nay!"
