93!
Using Firefox and Safari it seems that the pictures in the (at least in my) Blog(s) are soemhow horizontically squeezed. When I check the blog entry before publishing all looks fine. Is this just on my side or is it some bug or (highest probability here) am I doing something wrong? When I am copy/pasting the pic the dimensions are correct, so it just seems a display problem.
Thanks in advance

I just checked some random blog posts and they seem fine. Will you, please, give me URL to a post with an issue?
Hi, eol!
Thanks for your checking. The three newest one are displayed incorrectly here. For example: http://www.lashtal.com/portal/resources/blogs/entry/on-this-day-in-history-january-11.html
When displaying the pics alone, all is correct. When displayed in the blog, they are squeezed. Here, at least.
Sorry for any hassle...

That is "Oaklan Tribune" picture? Looks just fine in my Firefox. Could anyone else check too?
Looks ok to me.

93 all!
Thanks so far. Well, they kinda look ok to me too. Meaning, they are nice and readable. But compared to the original jpeg (if you take the time to download one and check) they are squeezed in in width. It's not a big thing, I just wanted to point it out. I checked on 2 computers and an iPad, always squeezed in width. The tiny thumbnail pics on the main page are perfect in aspect ration.
So, is this really on my side? On all of my computers at home and at work? Maybe...

I clicked on the link in IE8, seven minutes ago, and the "connecting whirlygig" is still whirling and no-thing has appeared on the white screen.
Oh no! Not the "whirligig"!

The images (I'm looking at the Oaklan Tribune example in Firefox on a 1680 pixel wide screen) re-size themselves horizontally as you change the width of the browser.
There is a point when the images starts to squash horizontally and then snap back as the menu on the r.h.s. drops to the bottom of the page i.e. when the page reaches 960 pixels wide. [That's what I see here.]
It might be the Joomla site template has some 'responsive design view' code built in to handle different devices. The iPod/iPhone 4 series has a screen of 960x640 pixels, for example.
Eol will probably know ...
93, jdes!
And thanks. Well spotted. I think it is some kind of bug, because I only get it dimensionally right when I use a fairly weird window size.
Thanks again, hope this can be fixed easily. By the way, this did not happen last year when I started the blog.
