A person I know described spontaneously seeing a symbol appear before them while indoors, without the aid of drugs.  I will leave out details surrounding the event.  The symbol appeared very clearly, and opaque - blocking vision of anything behind it.  This symbol was digitally recreated with their first-hand help describing it, so the shapes and colors should be accurate.  I would like to see what anybody on this board has to say about this symbol or potential meanings and interpretations.

Thank you very much for any input.

Is this friend of yours an occultist who works with visualization, or did this just happen out of nowhere for no apparent reason?

He is not an occultist and does not practice meditation.

If your friend just had this randomly happen, and was not on drugs, and hadn't been performing any occult experiments recently, then a forum like this may not be the best place to look first. There are a myriad number of medical conditions which can induce hallucinations. And even if the event was spiritual in nature, a symbol like that could be interpreted a thousand different ways by any occultist you may ask. The one thing I will say, is that if it is in fact spiritual or magical in nature, your friend has to look at themselves to figure out what it means.

Basically, yes.

i already have my own personal thoughts on this symbol, i am not asking what it means. I am asking what anybody here might say about it, aside from directing me somewhere else. I've been lurking the board for years.

Thanks again.

It's really not an "occult" symbol, if that's what you are after. It's not like you posted a sigil of Paimon or something. For many, it's probably just a random picture.

In any case, what it means to your friend is what will matter the most, aside from what anyone here on the boards, or yourself, might say.

You get a groovy effect if you stare at it for about 30 seconds and then look at a blank wall. It appears that the colours are complementary.

This symbol is obviously a modified Nazi-SS emblem with circles around it. It doesn't MEAN anything - except what it meant at the instant of viewing by the original seer. All other talk, discussion, observation, thinking and interpretation is null and void.

If there was ever to be a Grateful Dead/Throbbing Gristle collaboration their emblem would probably look something like that.

I suspect you're posting this on the wrong website, every page of which points out that it isn't an 'occult' site.

You might find the response you'd prefer here: http://www.heruraha.net
