About

“Aleister in Wonderland” is the true story of the reincarnation of Aleister Crowley.

Michael Tierney has compiled documents and evidence he believes will prove he is the man once known as the Great Beast; Frater Perdurabo; Aleister Crowley.

“I begin this project with mixed feelings to say the least. While Crowley is well liked in most circles these days (currently receiving credit and accolades far beyond anyone’s wildest imaginations) it is with some caution that I embark on this path.

“At times I have felt clever and proud; like a magician who has performed the ultimate ruse. At other times, defiant and evil; like a man turning himself in for a crime only because he wishes to receive credit for its elaborate machinations.

“But the dread I feel does not escape me.

“From the small amount of research I have done thus far, combined with what I know to be true about my current life, it is apparent to me that I have gone to great lengths to conceal my identity and obfuscate the truth. I have embraced anonymity. My life has been an elaborate ruse veiled in secrecy; aided by a spell of invisibility and amnesia.

“But what I also see is a joke; a trick; a riddle. I see that what lays before me was put in place to be revealed at some point; to prove to myself and others who I really am.

“It was in January of 2010 that I uncovered what I believe to be the riddle of my life.

“I expect that at times I may be misunderstood, reviled, mocked, disregarded, or laughed at as a fool.  But please try to see past the obvious attempt at self-aggrandizement this assertion could appear to be.

“I do enjoy a good laugh, so please, help yourself.  It is not without risk that I make this claim, and if I become convinced otherwise at some point, I will gladly remove my stake.

“My intention is not to take from you the man you have come to love or hate; but share with you a man you have yet to know.

“All my life I have been perplexed by the question, ‘Who am I?’  I have suffered as one who truly did not understand the quagmire his life had become.  Until recently, my life has a been a conundrum with few answers.

“As one who has explored the world of New Age religions and cults, I have usually chuckled when someone claimed to have been a well-known or famous figure in a past life. I’ve most often doubted it; and I have never before claimed to be as much.

“But the evidence in this this case is too strong to ignore.

“Had it been my belief that I was some other known or unknown figure in my past life, I would surely keep my thoughts to myself.  But given the vast amount of research and interest in the life and work of Aleister Crowley, and the nature of his work, I believe it to be both my true will and duty to share this information.

“Please bear with me as I unveil the riddle of who I am to myself and others.  I am not yet an expert on Crowley or his life’s work and I have only begun my research.  While I have admired and been aware of Crowley for some time; my knowledge of him, until recently, has been limited to information posted on his wiki page.

“But I am confident that given just the casual collection of evidence I have compiled thus far, I can prove my assertion to Aleister Crowley’s many researchers, fans and historians.

“For the record, I am not a member of the O.T.O. or A .:. A .:. and have no affiliation with any other organization at this time.”

- Michael Tierney (January 10, 2011)

It was on January 10 of 2011 that I wrote the above posting the about section of Aleister In Wonderland, a blog I started in July of 2010. I had finally settled into a beautiful apartment on Pratumnak Hill above Pattaya beach in Thailand. The whole time is a bit of a blur but I did take notes most days so I believe I can piece most of it together. It was on this same day that something compelled me to sign up for an account on LAShTAL.

I'm starting this thread in the Magick section because I believe the things I have to share are a manifestation of Magick. If this thread is approved I intend to share my experience of things and how they unfolded.

Aha!  Another claimant to the throne.

Maybe this is the real one?

and here I was hopeful and excited that this thread was going to try and draw some Thelemic meaning, or comparisons between Thelema and Alice in Wonderland, both books I enjoy immensely and just rewatched Burton's remake.  But no... too bad 🙁

Welcome, reincarnated Aleister number 202920, please take your ticket and wait in the line for your due recognition.  I think you will be waiting a long time.  While you wait perhaps you'd like some free samples from the deli counter?

No he isn't (he's a very naughty boy). I'm the Messiah! So there!

Wow. This place is nasty. You guys drink while you type? I've been careful to be polite and not get banned. This is my 11th post in 4 1/2 years. I don't recall saying anything about a throne or messiah. Hmmm, me thinks i should use better judgement where I play with my marbles. Back to the cuckoos nest!

Isn't this the second one in about a month?
Perhaps a sign of spring when they come out of the woodwork?

Nasty? ???  I thought the responses were rather mild.

Say, that's a quote from where Ra-hoor-khuit is speaking. Come to think of it, there's been no claim from anyone who thought they were the bird. And that gives me a unique idea ;D

Sorry to “nit-pick” as it were, but in this chapter (2) isn’t this meant to be from the perspective of Hadit, as filtered through & conveyed by Aiwass the “voice” of the minister of Silence (HPK)?

"elitemachinery" wrote:

Frequently.  All depending on the poster you are responding to, one can build up quite a thirst!

"elitemachinery" wrote:

Sometimes being polite is not enough.  You must follow The Guidelines!  Or suffer the purgatory of premoderation.  I think this goes with Paul even if you are the second Aleister. (!)

But you have mentioned those two things in association just now: you seem to assume the criticism is around a throne and messiah-ship.  Perhaps there is some sort of an unconscious Freudian connection in your mind between the two?

"elitemachinery" wrote:

The important thing is to play where you like, but not to lose it (that is, your set of marbles).

Have you asked yourself: would the original Aleister have given up on the challenge so soon ?  “I shall endure until the finish” & all that … d’you remember?

Hi Jamie Barter! That sounds like a REAL name? It's funny how people with real names on forums tend to be more polite. I appreciate your comments. It's a relief for me to come across a person with a real name in this labyrinth of caterpillars and Humpty Dumpty's..

You took the "marble" bait I see. You guys are clever man gotta give it to you! Freudian stuff too.. that should keep me mind boggled for a while. This whole thing seems like quite a buzz i'm twirling about so much I think I don't know who I am any more..

Oh yeah it's me. I have a real name too. My name is Michael Tierney. Aleister Crowley is still dead fyi folks. He's not coming back. Dead and gone.

You see I think how it works is there is a bigger me and a bigger you and that is the part that continues life after life (if in fact reincarnation is real.) So my assertion is really not that I am Aleister, I never said that. My assertion is that guy named Aleister Crowley, that is in my distant past. It's a life I had and I role I played.

This life i'm different. New hard drive. New o/s. New personality. Some files have been copied over. Some bad habits repeated. But you won't find me calling myself Aleister no not me! That guy is still dead.

I am Michael Tierney. (quite happy being so actually!)
I was Aleister Crowley.
I am. I was.
I am Aiwass.

Aleister In Wonderland and through the looking glASS.

Now i'm quite aware how these forums work and how the mob rules mentality can heckle one into submission. The group mind think is alive and well here me thinks.

It's just annoying to hear the same unoriginal stuff every time from the clones. You guys might consider that you are lumping me in with your per-conceived notions about what it means to be AC reincarnate.

And please, for all the folks lumping me in with the 20,000 other Aleister reincarnates that are supposedly out there, i'm curious.

Do any of these people have names? Can anyone here name one person who right now today believes this to be true? I have never met one. I've heard of some people trying on the hat and then deciding it wasn't for them. But I know of no one that currently thinks this to be true.

Surely if there are 20,000 of me (oops I mean AC) out there at least one must have a name?

Could it be that all the letters that Israel Regardie got in the 60's (and others like Grant or Staley or Lon Milo get to this day perhaps?) are in fact part of the riddle? A sort of sick joke letting Israel and otehrs know there is still one issue unresolved and reminding them that "hey i'm back" so to speak?

I think so.

But forget logic it's really WAY overrated. Riddles don't speak logically. Riddles are a form of Magick I believe.

And i think part of the problem I see in sharing things here is this place is full of wretched jaded old frat boys that do not believe in Magick.

But I knew all that before I started this thread. I began this thread partially for google and I felt that the scrutiny this forum provides could provide a bit of durability possibly to my assertions or my story. You see folks I had a hard time leaving my entire blog live in google. It's too easily misunderstood and twisted (even among supposed intellectuals like yourselves!)

So although my original intention was to share my notes and experiences around having the Aleister In Wonderland blog, perhaps i've said enough for now. My original statement is now in the google again and people will come across it along with the clever and snide responses refuting me on every turn.

But I do see a small problem in the trolling and that is that there are many people who read these threads and don't post. People who have a keen interest in hearing what I have to say, be it morbid sense of humor or whatever. I often think who I am really talking to are the quiet ones. The ones who listen and don't speak.

Don't let me stop you guys though. Troll away. I may post again and I may not. Doesn't matter. My original statement from the "about" section is now back in google and posted on what I think to be the most important website for AC material and study.

And further, I have no problem with moderation. I don't think i've ever broken any rules, but I have no problem with moderation. In fact I like it. It keeps me in check and prevents me from flying off the handle in response to trolls or because i've had a drink or two.

As for Mr. Feazey, me and him are best buds these days. I sent him $5 and he spent the weekend at Piccadilly betting the horses and stuff. I email him 10 times in a row and don't hear back but we're best buds.  😉

OK, this thread is about Magick. Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words. Today I uploaded WAY TOO MANY screencaps and photos to the gallery for Mr. Feazey to go through. I think and hope a few are relevant and will be approved.

As for this thread. I can take it or leave it. But I'll be around.

Yes. You are correct. It was a case of mistaken identity. I am not Ra-hoor-khuit, I am Hadit ... who can never be known ... so please forget that I ever mentioned it. 8)

93!

This subject of  reincarnated Aleister Crowley  claimants has always fascinated me!
The following,  are the most trending thoughts entertained,  regarding this issue.
That reincarnation is not true, so therefore he cannot have reincarnated.
That he achieved a spiritual level quite beyond the making for that kind of come back.
That he has.
That he will.
I am certain there are other notions,
yet those I've listed above seem to be the best bets.

Regardless of all the above ideas on the subject,
I "personally" set forth one major criteria that must be met,
before I would even consider any such claimant seriously;
the most important criteria in my book for that matter.
Do your numbers add up?

For rest assured,
if such a thing as The Beast reincarnating is possible, this must needs be true,
as the theologians fancy to say from their musty old books.
And if they do indeed add up, can you Walk Like an Egyptian?
Perhaps even,  Talk like a Theologian?

Anyway,  if you find out you are not him, that you are mistaken,
--all is not lost!  Your will still be in the Game of Pan!

93! 93! 93!

Aleister Crowley = 113 = Ankh-f-n-khonsu

24 + 89 = 113

Um ... maybe you'd be kind enough to do your numbers letter by letter - instead of by just sums that don't seem to add up.

My reply was rhetorical, and not intended to be informative. The values used are not transliterated Hebrew values, so you can stand down.  🙂

wow  I was born 24 November (11th month) 1989 - so I'm definitely the reincarnation of AC!

I doubt your response could be any more irrelevant to mine than it is, but I'll chalk it up to youthful arrogance.

Here, I'll provide you with a stick you can swing at me:

Michael Clarke = 123 = Ankh-af-na-khonsu

Hi and thanks for your question. Yes I believe they do add up. I first looked at the numbers around January 20, 2011 as I too was curious what I would find.

This is what I came up with:
