@shiva So poetic bard is one of your many talents!  Digitized literature is fine, but can't beat the fine wine of a dusty old book, well worn and read, lives on long after we are dead!  Speaking of books, I have a 1909 edition of " Guide of the Egyptian Collections in the British Museum.  Inside is a hand written message  "Lawrence S. Williams New Malden, Surrey July 5th, 1922.  The same year Howard Carter discovered Tut-Ankh-_Amun!

Digitized books may be fine, but they don't become aged wine

Yeah, yeah. We've heard the wholey storey about the various obsessions with hard-copy books. I know all about it. Firm, solid, leather cases. Acid-free paper. I lived in that world. It came time for those tools to pass on - not by burning (as the proverb says), but by selling.

But I never memorized all the Libers, so I gathered up the digital stuff for when a quote was required (you know, word-for-word in a wordly debate).

So here I sit, empty-handed
all my tools easily disbanded
have i been truly abandoned?
I hope so

@shiva I have no problem with digitized  books, in a pinch they are better than nothing.  Crowley was a bibliophile, his editions were made with loving care, he micromanaged typography, cover designs, etc.   His books were the  height of the typesetter's art  The Goetia (The original hardcover editions) are a good example.

@katrice Your humility is refreshing.  You are insightful none the less!

Thank you.  I just do the Work.

I didn't mean to imply that I thought you'd be unfamiliar with The Vision and the Voice, I just mentioned it as the primary example of how Enochian has shaped Thelema.  I hadn't looked at the notebook editions, though, so thank you for mentioning them!

@katrice No offense taken!  Had it not been for you and your comment, I wouldn't have found the Original notebooks on the Internet Archive.  Let me give you a tip.   If you decide you want to look at it, go FIRST to google and type in The Vision and the Voice Internet Archive, (Full text)and you just click.  Don't go directly to Internet Archive, because for some reason, if you type in The Vision and the Voice you will be directed to a literal wilderness of subjects that include the search term "Vision"  I don't know why , but sometimes IA has some peculiar quirks in their search methodology.

Why are you promoting this particular, Borg-infested, search and find engine? People in their right minds know what G does, and they seek out the engine(s) that don't. Hint: There are only two that don't.

that include the search term "Vision"  I don't know why

Many "search" functions do not grasp the context of any phrase that is more than one word. Placing "quote marks" around the search term can help - sometimes. Many search robots are simple-minded creatures that have had no grammatical programming ... possibly because the programmer was simple-minded, drunk, or a five-year old child. Now you know why.

See? You already knew why. You just didn't know the details. I believe the search phrase is "AI," not IA.

@shiva I use Google because I'm used to it.  My use of IA was in reference to "Internet Archive"  not artificial intelligence.  Acronyms can be misleading.  I recall reading some idiot trying to claim that Aleister Crowly's "Cult" was called The "SS" (No doubt invoking Hitler's SS) Silver Star.  When in fact it's Astrum Argenteum or A A.  Not to be confused with "Alcoholics Anonymous"  See how sticky it gets!

Right. Addicted. As intended.

Sorry. My misinterpretation. They both add up to 11, so where does that leave us?

Posted by: @toadstoolwe

Aleister Crowly's "Cult" was called The "SS" (No doubt invoking Hitler's SS) Silver Star

Crowleys S.'.S.'. means Spirus Sanctii [sic & mixed-up, for sure] - it is the specific title of the Superior Collegium, or Supernal Order. It was so-called long before Heinrich's SS. SS is also used by Notary Publics everywhere as a legal symbol.

It is not sticky at all. Your assessment of the AA/SS has a few, um, dots not properly connected.

@shiva I was just quoting from memory what the nutjob wrote.  If I could recall the publication, I would have referenced it  I know the SS was formed by Henrich Himmler.  However, the wingnut was obviously trying to tie the two organizations together.  He (or she) also stated that it was called the "Silver Star"  an obvious con job because Crowley called it Astrum Argenteum.  No mention of the Superior Collegium was made.  Now we are getting into The Morning of the Magicians realm, that made reference to "Vril, the Power of the Coming of the Master Race by Edward Bulwer-Lytton  in 1871  based on Blavatsky's Theosophical philosophy.  Of course this was before Crowley was born.  But that doesn't stop his critics from making crazy syncretistic parallels.  Case in point, Suster's book The Occult Messiah, that ties the Aeon of Horus Crowley and Hitler.

I think I should, too.

So hello again.

I worked through Blazing Diamond and Anicca.
It took some time as you can see. Not only reading it but letting it take some roots down deep.

Posted by: @snowonvenus

Wonder if this enigmatic Mister White is still around.

Um, his org split at the yin-yang level a few hours before I met him. Everything came unraveled. Then he sued The Deep State (The Queen, Pres Bush, CIA, FBI, etc). Then he died at age ~48, showing signs of radiation exposure. An electrical engineer scanned his house afterward. A beam was still being "beamed in." This turned out to be a rather ugly story ... but when I met him, he sure knew how to cut through the clutter.

Very compelling! I heard similar stories over the years about (primarily) investigative journalists.

I'm sure the technology exists but when you only hear it online you have to use your own judgement to distinguish real clandestine operations from conspiracy theory and people trying to get more important by being attacked.

While we're at it...on your website you mentioned that one should be very careful diving into politics as "the black brothers" have their means spotting you. Can you (publicaly) elaborate a little on this?

Franz Bardon talked about the FOCG Lodge and their device called the Tepaphon which more or less can kill people via long distance. Though I never knew how to categorize it.

Ignant broke through the clouds to get the story. He found the search rather difficult, but he persisted. He left behind an assortment of loose-end links ... which I followed. The whole tale is included in The Hot Zones of Anicca, which is my latest, and last, book. Since I gave free copies to everyone else, you might as well have one as well. Here ...

https://mega.nz/file/4AJi3Jwb#Kt-cscxQZVwI7TAvW6FEsf6ZML1O65ak4rl34A94bt8

Your're perfect description of the Hot Zones mirrors my own observations rather close.

They are completely artificial. There are no "natural" borders, lines, or other marks or scratches to indicate any border. This has all been invented by some man, or his spouse, who thought 12 was better than 13. Rumor has it that there were one 13 signs, but one got removed.

I never believed in the 13th sign aka Ophiuchus. It streches over a vast portion of the heaven over both libra and scorpio. The number twelve seems to be much more important in our calendary system. Then again our calendary system is far from perfect as solar and lunar calenders just don't match. Even all the lunisolar calenders I studied were not satisfying.

Btw I always wondered...classic magick á la Picatrix and Agrippa put so much emphasis on doing rituals on the right day of the week for doing operations. But then again why is it Friday today? Seems completely artificial again. Somtime long ago perhaps by some popely decree this 7 day rhythm must have started. Today could be sabbbath as well!

Yeah. Even if it's off by 99%, it's bigger than we need to worry about. Our worry must be concentrated on doing the work so we can transcend aeons and yugas.

This point about The Work (sounds like Byron Katie, huh?) has always been the big questionmark for me. I'm not that long into Thelema as most people on here. However I'm into Zen for a long time. My Zen/Advaita Master (which I found after a long search and I regard as something like an Ipsissimus, otherwise I wouldn't go to him obviously) always pointed more to "nothing works". Whatever you do it will not get you there. "There" being this nirvana/moksha state of course. If I see this A.:A.: system there's this ladder but then again every new Siddhi is a roadblock as your ego tries to grab it.

The solution would be humbleness and grace but can you really enforce this?

This is because it (I) started at the present time and worked out ... out into the usual 12-house deal, showing that Aquarius doesn't start for another ~500 years. The zodiac, in any persuasion, is so screwed up in the minds of men, and women too, that none of it really makes sense. My only point (that was hidden in the long text) is that we're approaching the tipping point of the transition (2029) and people should buy gold and plant gardens.

Fortunately I already have some gold (which I'm unable to form into a ring or lamen so I have to deal with this damned Queen starring to the side).

I must have missed your hidden clue to the 2029 point of transition. Numerologically I can see some significance in this year. However what makes you so certain something big is gonna happen this time?

Human Design says the big shift in human consciousness will be in 2027 however after all these false prophecies one is kinda saturated.

This is the real deal. The aspirant is encouraged to discuss the A.'.A.'. and its principles. The A.'.A.'. was (and is) not a secret order. There are no Oaths of Obedience, Poverty, Chasity, or Secrecy. Everything is on the tabletop. There are no dues.

You may be confusing a Secret Order with Secret workings. The Secret Workings are the aspirant doing the work. Their personal work falls under the canopy of the 4th power of the Sphinx. It is stupid and chi-wasting to discuss one's current work with others, except perhaps one's mentor.

I'm afraid I don't quite get the 4th power of the Sphinx yet. I read about it in Anicca and Wisdom and Folly but I couldn't really comprehend ad integrate it.

The OTO is the opposite. One pays dues, takes Oaths of Secrecy (1*), Obedience (1*), Chastity (VII*), and Poverty (IX*). It's supposed to be secret, but they have a webpage with a list of where to go to sign up. Tales of horror, terror, and treachery follow.

Haha, I'm sure. That's why I'll probably stay away (or at least at a save distance)

This is AC's version of the RTC Marketing Plan. This is why so many beginners become evangelists. I never engaged in this nonsense. AL describes the route of not-blabbing and just slipping them a booklet. Always make them ask.

Note: The Hierophant is a long ways up from the corridors where secrets are purposely leaked by new acolytes.

I'm aware that the Hiero crosses the Abyss. Nevertheless isn't it what one should be shooting for all along?

It has come to my attention that you are concerned about a series of opposites. Hidden vs Shown Instruments. Blabbing vs Silence. Two zodiacs that don't match. Let me give you the secret, unpronouncable secret that will solve all such inconsistencies ...

Whenever two "things" don't reconcile
just take it easy with a smile
If neither is right, then both are wrong
you'll have to write another song

Absolutely brilliant advice thanks. My most beloved passage of your post! Could even pin it on my fridge if it would help. Coincidentally it's the same thing as my Zen Master always told me when I bothered him with my constant indecisiveness (he wasn't into magick openly just loved to read Crowley in the 80s).

That is, we are only interested in things that dovetail and prove practical. "We" means folks who are looking for what's real. The Student is advised to read the books, looking for concepts they have in common. If they differ, then they are citing partial truths, and may be eliminated.

I don't know where this leaves you with two zodiacs. Is there a third? Can yo create your own ... of any number?

It's hard to find anything at all which is more than a "partial truth" if you research further.

I see you are forever doomed. Please do not ask me about the garbage pits of digital humanity.

Sorry, won't ever do again. I'm afraid I'm not the only one owning a selfie stick on here.

After the Fact. Historical tales and diaries were not published (or probably discussed) while they were going on. I have done the same thing. I just dropped you a book that does just that.

However, during my entire magical career, I never spoke or wrote about my work to any non-initiate. Eventually, in the rajas phase, I held publick lecture/demos on astral projection, divination, spiritual acupuncture, raja yoga ... but I never allowed certain phrases to be uttered: A.'.A.'., OTO, Initiation (except as a personal journey), Crowley, Magick ...  I taught the topics but kept the system behind the veil. Always make them Ask.

So I was never a good evangelical A.'.A.'. thumper. When it comes down to real-time activities in the real-time world, it doesn't matter what Crowley said or did. It seems he might not have been too correct on some things. As he implied, we all gotta cut our way through the jungle ourselves.

If we're really approaching this Age of Aquarius sharing seems to be the right (virtous) thing to do.

Sharing can get one killed dead. Everybody needs to develop a good sense of discrimination. A wise person knows when to speak and when to shut it. Since reality changes, then there can be no universal rules about when or why. It's a simple skill one better develop, or they will say bad things about one.

Good advice, resonates deeply. I asked the opening question to my thelemite acquaintences from Germany and their advice just didn't click. They had this hippy attitude of " Lady Babalon gets shared with everyone as well. If you keep your instruments to yourself that's like imprisoning your girlfriend so she don't gets smutted".

However I suppose that's one of the main reasons why the hippy movement failed back in the Sixties. They thought all these natural things like jealousy and wanting to have one's privacy and refuge are not necessary to contemplate anymore. I don't think it's quite that easy.

Self-preservation. The 4th Power of the Lion-Man. The fact that batteries leak, and when you go to use them, they have no charge. There is an injunction to spread the word of the A.'.A.'.   If one is not a formal member, this does not apply. A formal member has signed the 0=0 Oath, either solo or under/with a mentor.

After all these years of experimentation would you recommend signing this oath?

Uh-oh, and a halfThis is the first thing they say to gain our confidence (for the confidence game, you know?). They also say, "I could not care less," as if to signify their complete detachment from any barbs, arrows, or demands for proof. They set off fireworks and profane denouncements, with screaming an CAPITAL letters as they go.

But, anyway, so, well, you don't appear to be of that stripe or tirade. Pass.

Don't let it go to your head. The next ordeal is terrible, indeed.

You are to use an apostrophe ['] for the upper dot. It is close enough for LAShTAL and Gov work. I told you how terrible it would be.

Some people us colon-period [:.], which is cheating. The triangular shape is needed to let the eye see through - it is ubalanced (a mortal offense).

Now I see the next post is long enough to warrant several breaks, and I really want to get this of to you, so ...

Franz Bardon talked about the FOCG Lodge and their device called the Tepaphon which more or less can kill people via long distance. Though I never knew how to categorize it.

I do not remember ever writing any such thing, but it sounds interesting. Let me ask myself what I meant.

Ah, yes. When one introduces "spiritual" concepts, including individual rights and liberties, into physical plane law, or politics, or any group endeavor, there will always be a reaction from the materialistic mind-set, either within the group/gov or some external (physical) entity will come knocking. At Solar ranch, they didn't knock ... they sat of in the distance in their Jeeps, and shot at us.

The same principal principle, light attracts darkness, may be applied to the higher planes as well. It goes at least to Chokmah. People try to stone the Prophets. Crowley? You know. Mo? The idol-worshippers from the city came out to crush him. His military insight allowed him to kick their butts. He then got divinely angered an set out to clean house on the whole world. He got pretty far, and earned an aggressive, pushy religion. Osiis/Jesus? You know.

Here's the winner, though. Lao Tze was leaving the city to go become the Tao, but the guard at the gate would not let him pass 'til he wrote down his secrets. What a drag, eh? So he sat down and wrote. Then he handed the Tao Tek Ching to the guard and walked off into history.

Death rays, scalar weapons, laser weapons, sonic/ultrasonic buzzing of embassies, crowd control resulting in stinging blisters, particle-beam blasters ... these are all circulating stories on both alternative and mainstream news. There are pro articles with interesting details - there are debunking articles. I dunno about Bardon or Reich (not much), but I've studied Tesla. His work was benevolent. What about the fellows who took his machines and patents and wondered how this stuff could kill people?

Posted by: @snowonvenus

This point about The Work (sounds like Byron Katie, huh?)

I refer to The Great Work. Around here, it usually means doing the practices in the Libers, not a few times, but regularly ... for years. Reading doesn't count (oh, give it two or three points out of a hundred). This mostly entails ceremonials and raja yoga, with lab courses in divination or astral projection.

It was about an hour's drive from the school in Hesparia to Katie's house in Barstow (the [after] Agape Lodge had a ranch in Barstow). So I took my class on a field trip to see what was happening. Katie was not home. Her "people" spoke politely with us, then they fed us lunch. There was no "spiritual aura" in the premisis, nor did any inmate show signs of Adeptship.

Posted by: @snowonvenus

The solution would be humbleness and grace but can you really enforce this?

Nothing you do will work. It enforces itself. One does not attain higher states (state?) by linear methods. It enforces itself in its own time and fashion.

Personally I do not see the need to idly sit back and wait. If one does the practices, certain results will follow. If these lead to siddhis, as you state, we must remember that both Patangali and Perdurabo discussed rejecting any "lesser" siddhis that may arise. That's how we spot the difference in poster's (postal?) motivation. Are they after "powers" or are they after the HGA?

So, yeah, if you follow the curriculum, sign the Oaths as you go, expect one to two years at each (outer) grade, one can get prepared for it, when it comes. It won't come to an unbalanced vehicle. Now if you go along this path with a guide, a mentor, you have a 50/50 chance of getting through in one piece. If you get fragmented, you may need a new guru - an initiate who is one or two steps further along cannot be trusted unless he/she is 8=3. We are all crazy from the Chesed down.

I found out, decades ago, that a Probationer cannot be trusted with a "link" unless that person is at lwast 5=6, and that's the only way I did it for a long time.

Now, if you're doing the solo approach, picking and choosing practices at random, without a guide (stable or sane), then you're on your own, aren't you?

I must have missed your hidden clue to the 2029 point of transition.

It is a rubber-stamp matrix to place over the 'borders' of the Aeons. It is very simple.  There is a 250-year "transition zone" that overlaps into each "Aeon" by 125 years. I have used this figure (250) since my early days (1960s) when Astro was a siddhi I could count on ... over the decades, it continues to prove itself (to me).

Taking 1904 as a Gospel Year, (why not?) the equation is ...

1904 + 125 = 2029

I came up with this figure about 6 decades ago. The World Economic Forum then came up with ...

The Great Reset 2030

I find this close enough for speculative prophecy - New Year's Eve 2029/30. Please insert that in your QBL and wonder.

Human Design says the big shift in human consciousness will be in 2027

Close enough to be in the ball park. The good part about this is that you younger folks have the opportunity to quitly file these numbers away in your Hods, and then you get to see if any of it holds water or spits fire. This is a great improvement over the "Old Aeon" (still with us, and in charge) where you had to wait 'til you died, then went befor the Jesus/Osiris Tribunal/Ordeal to see if your after-world body gets to live on or disintegrate.

Posted by: @snowonvenus

'm afraid I don't quite get the 4th power

Silence. If one is trying to charge a battery with, say, a feeble solar panel where the sun shines not alot, it would be foolish to use the battery to energize lights that shine upon you so that other people can see your image and your inner workings ... as the battery goes dead.

This is not a metaphor. AC's writing has a few stories about "charging" one's aura, and he goes on about the 4th power in Liber 333.

I'm aware that the Hiero crosses the Abyss. Nevertheless isn't it what one should be shooting for all along?

At some phase, it's a good companion ... especially since most of the garbage/qliphoth has been flushed out. There are higher vistas. Some folks go for the Void (by whatever it's called - not the Abyss, though) without all this intermediate stuff (Angels, Hierophants, etc), This would be closer to your Zen style. Most westerners can't make the Zen stuff work, so they resort to Instruments, Yoga, and Tarot Cards. A red stone in a golden cross sometimes comes in handy, especially if you speak Enochian and have a hit of mescaline on hand (historical note - not a promotion of illegal activities).

After all these years of experimentation would you recommend signing this oath?

The Oath of a Probationer, 0=0, is taken to one's self. I have seen statements like When you take the Oath of Probationer, your dog will die, your relationships will crumble, you will lose your home ... etc.  This statement was brought to me, and "another person." by a Probationer. We all laughed until tears ran ... because we all knew it was true.

The "other person" had recently signed the Oath, her dog strangled itself by catching its collar on a door knob, her relationship was deteriorating fast (for both of them). They ended up (both) moving, divorcing, etc.

This was in 1989. The "other person" and I have been together since 1990. She is my wife.

And you want me to recommend such a thing? Only those who are willing to abandon the whole ball of wax should consider such a thing. On the other hand, in the early days (1900s - probably the first or second decade), the candidate was handed the Oath and left alone for (what? 45-minutes?). When they returned, if the candidate hesitated to sign, he was barred for life. That is AC's version of how it was done when they played hard-ball.

Anyway, I did it - by myself, without a "link." I had a mentor, but was informed the OTO was closed. Period. Nobody offered A.'.A.'. 'til later ... after I signed my own under my own authority.

Now, in that Oath, one invokes the A.'.A.'. for guidance, etc ... but there is no A.'.A.'. out there to invoke. A.'.A.'. was merely a symbol borrowed from the G.D. that he put different Latin words to (Astrum Argenteum). But there is no A.'.A.'., as such, out (or up, or in) there. But there is a spectrum of consciousness that the A.'.A.'. system attempts to recreate or represent, and right now, here in our western civilized (?) realm, it is my professional opinion that this A.'.A.'. curriculum is the most practical approach to liberation (from the mind) available.

I operated under Star System. I never represented this as the A.'.A.'. (a non-competition clause in my niyama). But when it came time for advancement (including me), the A.'.A.'. Oaths came out.

@shiva   A.'. A.'.  Whadda you know!  It works!  I just passed my second

ordeal!  I realize you take a dim view of Gematria, but I am reading the most interesting book I discovered on the Internet Archive.  I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in Gematria.  The title

of the work is:  Gematria: A Preliminary investigation of the Cabala Contained in the Coptic Gnostic Books, by Frederick Bligh Bond, F.R.I.B.A., and Thomas Simcox Lea, D.D. published in 1917.  I have already noticed how this system is helping me in understanding some of Crowley's MAGICK IN THEORY AND PRACTISE.  Also, I am taking a direct approach by re-studying THE QABALAH of ALEISTER CROWLEY: Gematria and Liber 777 Sepher Sephiroth, intro. by Israel Regardie.

Biblical Gematria has been abrogated - turned Black - and I thought it is spelled Chaos. "My number is eleven, as is the number of all of us." Eleven is the number of Magick, indicating "change."

I am not a fan of any of this numbering in order to find the truth. I know all about it, taught it for decades, and now laugh at the attempts to prove something ... with numbers ...

@shiva OOPS!  I misspelled Chaos.  I think Gematria is, if nothing else is interesting and thought provoking.  Crowley must of thought something of it, or why would he expend energy in writing a book about it?  He refers to gematria in his writings.  For him, I think it was more an intellectual exercise, like puzzles and playing chess  I personally think it was the forerunner of cryptology, passing secret or possibly traitorous information on to fellow travelers.  For the Hebrews (Whether they were right or wrong) to decipher hidden truths of YAHWEH-ELIOHIM and the Messianic expectation.  I am sure you already know all this, but I wanted to throw in my two cents.

Crowley must of thought something of it, or why would he expend energy in writing a book about it?

He told us why. QBL is a system for ordering the mind. It is a mental structure that allows us to organize things that are abstract.

But it is not a system for manipulating matter or creating agendae. Although we see this misuse from time to time.

Why do we need an ordered mind? Because the holee up-there isn't going to send a Messenger HGA to chat with a disordered mind.

I personally think it was the forerunner of cryptology, passing secret or possibly traitorous information on to fellow travelers.

I will pray for your sanity, and I ask others to do the same.

the Messianic expectation.

Yeah. The one who is the cometh one to follow thee. He's gonna expound all this. ALL religions have a coming one. It is a requirement in order to qualify as a religion. There must be something to look forward to. |Only Taoism ignores this requirement, and thus is not a religion ... it also does not speak of followers or messianics.

Come, now. That is basic data. Maitreya, the Coming Buddha. He is very cool. He will solve all our problems.

This sounds totally alien to all Buddhist teachings, was it some form of degeneration?

@shiva On your first point:  To make sense of the abstract, so I was right, Gematria is good as a mental exercise to as you say "order the Mind for a conversation with your HGA.  Seems to me that you would need a DISORDERED mind to speak to angels, Holy or not.

Pray For My Sanity?  A little late for that!

As for Gematria as a forerunner of Cryptology, Let's look at the Book of Revelations, a letter to the believers by a writer who calls himself John, He couldn't very well make direct reference to Rome, and the alleged Antichrist, NERO, so gematria was used to hide his identity.   As I know you know, Revelations is full of numerical references and word-play.  Perhaps to "order disordered minds".

@david-dom-lemieux Well, you should know.  Attainment is within you, not an external force, Gautama the Buddhas would tell you the same thing.  Personally, I like the Mahayanist School.  Tibetan Buddhism is strangely familiar in it's liturgies and practices to Western Religions. Although it's core beliefs are quite different.

Probably not living in London, despite the late Benjamin Creme's claims. 😉

There have been a whole string (line-lineage) of Buddhas. The Coming One is clearly identified and expected. The other side of the Indian coin is the Incarnations of Vishnu. I believe the Coming One is called Kalku.

Everybody's got a Coming One in their future - except for Taoists who choose to integrate into the real-time here-and-now. There are, of course, other heresies, such as Zen or Dzogchen, that adopt the real-time version of reality. In the West (our half of the world), the preference is to have someone else do it for you.

Seems to me that you would need a DISORDERED mind to speak to angels, Holy or not.

Disordered minds are delivered to Choronzon for processing and recycling. Nobody gets anywhere in the upper zones unless they have an EMPTY mind. A perfectly balanced mind adds up to zero. "Ordered" implies constructed in a balanced way - if the balance is "off" (biased, prejudiced, bearing an agenda), the House of Cards will fall down.

No. It's never too late if you're still animated. Sometimes miracles occur - results may vary.

Or Kalki. The Baha'i claimed Baháʼu'lláh as Kalki, and didn't Samael Aun Weor also claim to be Kalki too?

We won't go in to who Savitri Devi claimed as Kalki.  🙄

@shiva So a quick question: Is SHIVA a personification of Choronzon, a necessary part of this psychic journey?

@katrice Isn't Savitri Devi the one who wrote that Adolf Hitler was a living AVATAR?  She also had a correspondence with George Lincoln Rockwell, founder of the American Nazi Party.

yes, she believed that Hitler was Kalki.  Chilean diplomat Miguel Serrano was also an Esoteric Hitlerian influenced by her.

Opps!  I meant to write Kali, that kind of changes the dynamic of my question.  But, since all things emanate from the Godhead, Kali is just one aspect of Shiva.

@katrice Just an interesting tidbit, Magda Goebbels, wife of Joseph Goebbels wrote that if she had to pick a religion, it would probably be Buddhism.

So a quick question: Is SHIVA a personification of Choronzon, a necessary part of this psychic journey?

Shiva is merely one aspect or phase of the godhead that has no name. The Shiva phase is where and when it all ends. Metaphysically, we could say all matter moves into its spirit phase - which is called Shiva Nataraj or simply Nataraja. He dances the Tandava, the whirling extinction of form, which is said to be ecstatic.

It is said that he fuels this state with alcohol, so it has nothing to do with my version of dancing. In any case, he provides for the extinction of Atma and any other form or format of Kether.

Choronzon is really not a demon. It is merely the natural phenomenon that takes place at the periphery of the linear mind - you know, that tool we use to figure things out. This phenomenon is called dispersion. It implies the loss, or scattering, of one's thinking principle - the one that includes the sense of being separate from the whole.

Once Choronzon does its work (of dispersing egocentric notions), ther is still the Universal Mind of Atma (or whatever Supreme deity one installs in the white house at the top of the Tree - Nataraj will take care of that illusion, in time.

Shiva performs a similar function as Choronzon, but they work on two different floors of the high-rise tower of initiation. Let's not forget the Dweller on the Threshold, down at Paroketh - these three are necessary because they are not people or spirits or gods - they are universal principles.

All the rest, in the in-between realms, is up for grabs.

Kali is just one aspect of Shiva.

Maybe you'd like to look that one over, again.

@shiva Great! So you answer one question, and I get lead into a whole new realm of knowledge.   Admittingly, I had to Google (I know you hate google, it warps the mind)  to find out both what Paroketh is, and what the Dweller on the threshold is.  Initially I found a Van Morrison song of the same name.  I thought "That can't be it!"  "Keep looking"  I found a website called "FRATER ACHER'S THEOMAGICA"  which explains what Paroketh is (The Veil) and what the Dweller on the Threshold.  Anyway, it's a pretty long entry, so let me get back to it.  Thanks again.

I don't hate the G. I don't hate snakes either. I am respectful of the dangers, and I try to keep my distance.

what the Dweller on the Threshold [is]

If you were to ask me, I'd give you the Chapter on the subject. But that's okay - let's see what you come up with, first (by running around in these sleazy dens of iniquity on the publick web, led there by G and W).

@shiva Okay, give me the chapter , please.  So far, I I found out the term comes from Edward Bulwer Lytton (Remember him?  I mentioned him in another comment having to do with The Morning of The Magicians, and Vril, or The Coming Race)  Funny how the same names pop up in these readings.  So when you lift the veil (Of unconsciousness I would Assume)  A fearful guardian greets you as you transcend to higher consciousness.  Reminds me of the Ancient Egyptian DUAT, spells must be recited to overcome the demons that will impede your journey to the Western horizon.

Well, sure ... physically and culturally. My suggestion was more in line with spiritual movements (religions, et al), but it's the same principle.

We can narrow it right down to How happy I will be after I graduate, or we can expand it to any (theoretical) future event - after which all karma will be settled in happy bliss.

However, the list I mentioned offers long-term benefits. That is, they kick-in when you are sitting on the lap of Jesus (who is on the right hand throne over from YHVH), or when the Avatar Comes or the Prophet Returns. Most Av-Props are unrecognized as such when they are here - they only get "top billing" after their deaths - so where does that leave us in the here-now?

@shiva As I continue my research into the Dweller on the Threshold, I am gleaning  slowly some understanding.  Apparently before confronting, or facing the Paroketh.  I am now in the realm of the Qliphoth (evil) or distortion, self-delusion.  I am woefully deficient in the study of Qabalah.  Before delving into this concept, I had better do my homework.

Yes. Communists and Fascists, the Mau-Mau and the Hippies. These, and more, may be gathered under the umbrella of Revolution (to make things better).

Um, the USA was formed via a revolution. If I'm not mistaken, things did get better. Also, back in the '30s [?], the Mexican population arose and hanged all the priests (the Church had stolen too much of their land). To this day, priests are forbidden to wear clerical garb in public. Putting the RC Church in its place seemed to have a beneficial effect.

So, since there are many exceptions, Delusional Revolutionaries are not always "delusional."

Let me know when you're caught up. Then you can ask for my [free] epistle on the subject. No dues, no fees, no labor required ... oh, there is a minor clause regarding any first-born kids you might have.

@shiva Okay, I'm asking for your free Epistle on the subject. Sure you can have my first born kid, his name is AZAZEL.  I am starting with the rudiments of Qabala by watching a very good series on YouTube called:  Esoterica, narrated by Dr. Justin Sledge.  He has a very good lecture series on Jewish Mysticism, Zohar, Kabbalah and Western Hermeticism.  He encourages reading by suggesting texts that are appropriate to the subject  Check him out if haven't already, tell me what you think.

The 1930s Surrealist Bulletin once included something like "Comrades X and Y were out for a walk, when they encountered a priest in clerical attire. Faced with this outrageous provocation, the comrades had no choice but to beat him soundly." This was after the Surrealists joined the Communist Party, thus the use of "comrade".

More extreme than just yelling "Apo pantos kakodaimonos" at them.
